Hey, it's really a good thing I don't remember well the drama, because I'm sure I can't give you any spoiler. I don't know what episode you are watching now.
About NIS chief, it looks like it's not a regular operation, but he uses the service for a private reason. It's why he doesn't want Soo Ho to think. "you are the legs and arms, I am the brain".

So predictable. 😩 To be exact, it has to be a GRUMPY old woman. 😹

He's simple minded? Mmmh, talentuous however. We can say his skill is a bit better than his wife, as he could hide the cheating.
Yeah, what a nerve, for him it was a friendly breakup. But what to do? Women loves him, or at least want to keep dating him. He have to use some trick to quit them. From his POW, what more normal and right? It's those women fault if they cling so much on him.

WS is the ultimate expert about cheating, lol.
He could do a good politician. hum

+ this pen story continues in a funny way, when YJ thinks it's his colleague Jin Ho who got the pain as a gift, and cheating with his wife. I'm sure it will continues to develop about that damn pen.

Some sherlock like skills. I find strange she doesn't interrogate him further about how he can be rich.

So it's somehow ok to be amoral by cheating, when the wife is so amoral too. lol!
They are a great pair!

I don't know how was the mariage the early years and if he cheated then. Anyway, he ends to do it. He's a women's man. That's it. There are too many tasty fishes in the ocean to only eat one. He needs to meet new women on the side, but don't love them. He says it in a café scene: "situation is perfect, I love my wife and family and preserve it". By having affairs without love, it deletes any frustration he could have, and so it's good for his mariage. It makes sure he can continue life with his lovely wife. He sees things like this!

Then you should drop it because I found episodes 1-6 enjoyable enough.
But second half was the most nightmarish boredom I've ever seen. If you already find first episodes poor, I don't know what you'd become by watching more, but I'm worried.

Ah, it was my hour of commenting on internet. I enjoy a little bit better this drama which I was on the verge to drop. I mean, for once I can comment something else that my regular negativity. 😉

This drama makes you cry with a scene where someone is making bread.

Yep. It jumps to the eyes.

I find that relatable. She's from hell where there is no love and always lived there.
Love is an unknow experience and she believes it's something you can refuse.
But it's impossible to control, and now her heart is beating. Trapped by love! 🥰

Ah, it's good! WS is thinking about the blackmail at diner.
And YJ ask "it's very expensive".... Like she guesses his thoughts, but it's for something else.

I remember vaguely the service secret boss has a link with YJ. Maybe her ex-husband?

Money hunt. In the most improbable places of appartement, but the wife found them all. lol

It continues with writer whims and Soo Ho. I wonder if she does that to discourage him, or she's really without an idea of book. Next the rookie girl we saw earlier comes to help him. In the previous scene, he judged she was the only competent rookie. And she is really, she even read all the books of YJ.

I'm not sure, but have the feeling Soo Ho is falling in love with YJ. First he wonders why she chose that husband, and make constatation that WS is a handsome man, always chic and at the peak of seduction. Soo Ho looks like a bit envious.

Her shoes, in resume:
"I hate them. But I wear them because each time they make noise, it annoys someone else".
There is just too much good lines in the drama to mention them all.

Hey here WS is smart and has a good plan to get rid of the blackmail. But of course, immediate feeling it will fail. Aaaahhh, when the writer had to think a lot about this plan, poor writer.

Wait, do I see right? Someone with red shoes clean the security chief room.
Then, it turns it's YJ?

Ahahah! YJ want the VIP class:
She wait in the car that the cop opens her the door.

Then, what we knew already: SJ agent is a mad fan.

Two agents wait near the graveyard and they remember the books of YJ.
A nice visual: we see her in a graveyard and a page slide to comes back to agents.

On 11:45 comes a great screenplay effect.
Agents looks at her in supermarket.
She looks at meat being cut.
Them: "what she think right now?"
Follow a short cut of her cutting meat in her home.
She takes a piece of meat, throw it and...
SPLASH, something thrown at a cardboard in a new scene.

A jerky rich boy is rejected by Mi Rae. Yeah she's the female student running after WS.
She's so pretty that I can't even call her a beautiful girl anymore.
She's.... a creature !!!

Mmmh, scene with tension, because, dramatic irony, we know!
WS opens the gift (pen).

End with body of SJ.

Yeah. But now I'm a bit worried about Soo Jung. Looks like she was murdered for good.
It's weird to see this great support actor leave the drama so quickly.
The actress is queen In Hyun in Jang ok Jung, and she's good in the role. Anyway, everybody exept one guy are stellar actors in this.

Yeah, I understand that. I often feel that, and of course, writer knows that and plays on it. Plays on it in a very direct way in this drama. It works better on me with villains having more time, to get this cathartic effect. Or it works too with annoying people, even when they don't have much screentime, not big villains but people causing a wrong because they are unsufferable, and they get trouble. Ahahah!
