The tone is right. With dark comedy relying on subtext.
No silly or cringe slapstick comedy like there are in romcom.

That's not a must watch for sure! And Season 2 is awful. But the concept was funny, and there is Kim So Hyun, at the best of her beauty.

Lot of good lines and dialogues/confrontations, as often.
The scene when Min Hwan explains Soo Min why she can't be his wife, so outrageous. Ahhh, it was good! And to add irony to the situation, later he have to swallow his words and proposes her. lol!!!

I should end this drama. I put on-hold I don't remember why. I like a lot the main actress. And this time the main actor too because "He should have got the girl in love alarm", lol. His acting is good in Nevertheless, the role suits him well. Not easy, as the character is ambigeous, and so carries a lot of subtext.

I did a complete scene breakdown this time. But not a transcript, it would be too long. Only, my comment was lost on BOD. Or awaiting pm3 validation. The screenplay is awwwwwesome! How the writer did the scene breaks and transitions. I think I didn't missed much on my notes. But alas, it's a bit hollow about content itself, dialogues, etc. Except when it impacts the episode structure.

The two dramas you mention were written by Baek Sun Woo, so the writer of Dr Slump.
I liked "My roomate is a gumiho" but probably had boring moments in the second half, I can't remember how much. Well, you know, it's often like that with this kind of romcom. Just I remember the good comedy at start and the antics of the actress. Very cute one by the way.

We get better the meaning of their name on the phone "my better half".
She has a kind of insanity, like if she were married with Ji Won.
And all her life depends of Ji Won, while she doesn't allow her to be happy on her own.
Maybe she gives the right to Ji Won to be happy only when she's with her.
Now we got proof she's ready to die, if Ji Won dies with her. Yeah INSANE.

Let's say, having good villains is always a +++.

It's often very short and don't bother the main story. So I'm ok.
The scene in the storage room was the longest one with them. But it was also a perfect scene, solving various plot-points and a last line that is close to a confession.

I was watching the drama with my cat, and he committed suicide out of boredom. 😿

Guys, the episode 10 kicks ass.

Episodes 9 to 16 are a hell of boredom, each one more boring than the previous one.
We get also crazy plot-holes and clichés. Endless fillers and cringe not-funny comedy.

Anti of course, this drama was a profanity. 😂

Some people say he makes panties wet, and not much. But shhh...

What a joke, you never entered TKEM one.

Great suffering, isn't it? The boredom is of a torture level in this drama. As you watched to the end, it makes you a good point, in case you want to be recruited by a spy agency.
