When a boring show copy another boring show and succeed at being even more boring.
Probably I feel more the tragedy when there is no fantasy. Because it's the harsh truth of life, and no magic comes to save the situation. Indeed, Romeo and Juliet is a famous tale and escape time, being always great at any era.
It's weird you know. When I started that, I was cautious. I had enough of the "coming back relive in past" overused…
I accepted your F-request. I had contact with another writer last week. Maybe one day, by chance there will be room for a kind of writer group? I feel like I'm the only one to write kdrama on internet. With the korean format. Then about your horror story, maybe you can choose western format? The soft "writer solo" is free, and as good as a pro-one (or almost).
You say you attempted once. But obviously, it's a matter of time and work. So of course, you can do it properly, but needs some work and learning (not that much in my opinion, nothing scary). Just a way of thinking for screenplay, that is different than novels. You have a great advantage: you write short story. I've difficulty with that, I always have in mind big plots.

It's the kind of character: "I want to enter the screen and slap them" !!
I write kdrama screenplay but didn't have such character in my main work. But by chance, I wrote a short drama beginning as a break. (just the 4 first 30 minutes episodes) with no goal to write a whole kdrama. As I didn't planned the whole outline. But in this I put a character you would quickly hate and makes you mad. "I want to enter the page and punch him". You can find that on my blog (check my profile), the drama is called "Bookstore where you rent my heart".
Then I was happy I could write such a character, it's an epic feeling. I was also disgusted by the guy. But lot of fun too push the limit and makes him the most horrible as possible but still believable. It needs to take a step back and have a sens of dark comedy.

Maybe not the right drama for you. The tone isn't rom-com, more dramatic. And comedy is mostly indirect, based on irony and black humor. A bit like Penthouse, but less overdramatic. So let's say, if this part doesn't speak to you, and to boot you don't have what you want for the romantic part, well, it's ruined.
I doubt there will be a comfort couple here. There is a little chance we get a deeper love story, as they could face serious issues, and the two actors are enough believable for that. But it's a "maybe", I don't find often good love stories. I even don't look much for the romance part in dramas, because I have more and more difficulty to believe it over time, dramas after dramas. It's more something I let me surprise if it hits hard and catch me off guard. This way, I'm not that much disappointed if I don't get it, except when it's a melo and the main point is the love story and I can't get it.
Last good example was Death's Game episode 4. Just 20 minutes of love story, but more intense than whole dramas of 16h. I didn't see that coming and I prefer that.
Of course there are a specific tone and actress I know they have high chance to make me believe a love story. It's more in the serious tone, dramatic, tragedy or melo-drama style. But now, just rom-com? It's the light romance. I don't remember I had something like a favorite comfort couple in this area.
I watched "My Demon", really a drama I don't like, but there was exactly that, the cute comfort couple. Fans of the drama liked a lot, but it made me nothing. I think they can be happy because there is an insane amount of romantic scenes, that I found mostly boring, but they loved it. And so everybody was screaming "the chemistry!! the chemistry!!" I was "what?", is it a gas? is it the wind? I just see clichรฉ boredom.
More villains and painful assholes are always welcome. I think I'll like that, because we lost two bad guys in…
You pointed it out right! I remember I said it on another blog. Now there are two villains, excellents, but small ones. I was wondering how they could do lot of damage when then don't have a lot of power. So, we need big guys!
... HOBO: Are you ok I resurrect Gu Won? BUT I WARN YOU, think a lot about that because there will be SERIOUS consequences. DO-HEE: (in a flash) YES !!
Hobo continues her speech like a robot, annoyed that this stupid girl doesn't even take 2 seconds to think. Holly crap!
HOBO: (grandiloquent) Balance have to be preserved. DO-HEE: What balance? HOBO: (snob) I can't say more! Now decide. DO-HEE: But... I've already decided?! HOBO: You annoying idiot, all-right, I resurrect him.
--ASTRAL-FLASH-- Gu Won suddently appears with angel wings. YEAH, he's now an angel.
HOBO: Now boy, you'll serve me. GU-WON: Well, like before. HOBO: Oh shit, these kids piss me off to the brim.
Later, in a secret dark lair, Hobo goes to see the VILLAIN.
HOBO: Balance has to be preserved, as I resurected an angel, I have to make you a demon. VILLAIN: Does your shit makes sens, old bitch? But anyway I'm ok, gives me the superpower, so I can kill Do-Hee again and kick Gu-Won ass.
Far to be the best show of my life, but I have to admit it, I'm waiting too the episodes. Curious to see the villains' next antics, their obscene gall, and all the fun little details. Like, gosh, writing a marriage proposal with a crossed-out letter, as if it's too much to ask to rewrite it.
Some people will probably be upset in the upcoming episodes after the addition of Oh Yu Ra. A woman who the grandfather…
More villains and painful assholes are always welcome. I think I'll like that, because we lost two bad guys in previous episodes, and nice ones (at being annoying and obxonious).
To all the dedicated fans of MMH, your passion is truly admirable. However, it's time to be honest - The intricacies…
It's weird you know. When I started that, I was cautious. I had enough of the "coming back relive in past" overused trope. But what made me hooking to the drama are the villains, the dramatic irony and the subtext in dialogues.
So of course, I'm not in a hurry they solve their problems with them. On the contrary. I hope to see longer these assholes and hope they will continue to be painful a lot. When I take that scene by scene, I'm captivated. I could even say, I care a lot less about the general plot.
I saw the writer could develop a bit more the high concept with a kind of "time balance", what make they can't do anything to change events. The FL also think her ex-future-husband could kill her if she break-up with him. Well, let's take this reason too, even it's a bit far-fetched.
I don't care about chemistry, I don't trust into that. There is a good script, direction and actors, it makes what people call chemistry. Now they aren't yet in a romantic relationship. I didn't see anything wrong about that. ML is charismatic, FL even better at acting than some previous dramas. All's ok.

I still took the time to read what this person said, even I'm not fan of the drama.
Damn. But maybe it looks a lot for lazy people?
Also confused your main account with this anonymous one.

To be continued...
But we find out later, maybe... episode 6?

So I'll have to wait next saturday for that.
I've never have enough of them, they are so petty and ignominous.
