Any drama with a so-called "strong badass woman" is unrealistic. They are super-thin, small, no muscle, but we are supposed to believe they kick asses.
Except "strong woman bong-so", because, ofc, she has superpowers.

No, it's the first thing I noticed when watching PMR.
The FL is a pure victim, but as soon as she comes back in the past:
She starts acting bold, out of character. I was puzzled by that.
Only after a while, she's in a more realistic middle zone with uncertainties.
Anyway, it wasn't a flaw that prevented me to like the drama.

PMR did the best it could with the low budget. MMH is a more important production.
Even with the same basic concept, the two dramas are differents about tone.
PMR have a makjang feel, while MMH is dark comedy.
That's it! Nothing wrong about liking the two dramas, what I do.

After putting on-hold for the X time, I've reach episode 17 !
It's a nice drama to continue from time to time. The story is simple enough.
There aren't tons of things to remember, so it's easy to understand after a break.

We don't lie about that in the comments section, except a few fans.

It wouldn't be my favorite, even if it's the first one and I'm 10 years old.
By the way, Goblin was already boring and plotless.

Cliché drama, cliché lines...

Castway Diva was on top position, but at last second, DG was the best drama I watched last year. Episode 4. woow!
I don't care about their debate, I take the story as it is. And the wonderful work of director/screenwriter is the main point. I didn't even got the feeling the drama wanted to force me any message.

I used the actress Hye Ri in my screenplay "Bookstore where you rent my heart" (see that on my blog). There some steamy scenes, but as you say, it never goes very far, as it's a kdrama! Just some sexy jokes, no more.

You have love stories in kdramas where the leads have bedscenes. Even quite fast, like the drama IRIS. But the writer always does that in a way you see nothing. So often, you have the two leads waking up in the same bed, not even fully naked, of course. Just we get the allusion and understand they made it. ;-)

Comments section is #2 on international Netflix and 24.7% rating in South Korea.

The tone is right. With dark comedy relying on subtext.
No silly or cringe slapstick comedy like there are in romcom.

That's not a must watch for sure! And Season 2 is awful. But the concept was funny, and there is Kim So Hyun, at the best of her beauty.

Lot of good lines and dialogues/confrontations, as often.
The scene when Min Hwan explains Soo Min why she can't be his wife, so outrageous. Ahhh, it was good! And to add irony to the situation, later he have to swallow his words and proposes her. lol!!!

I should end this drama. I put on-hold I don't remember why. I like a lot the main actress. And this time the main actor too because "He should have got the girl in love alarm", lol. His acting is good in Nevertheless, the role suits him well. Not easy, as the character is ambigeous, and so carries a lot of subtext.

I did a complete scene breakdown this time. But not a transcript, it would be too long. Only, my comment was lost on BOD. Or awaiting pm3 validation. The screenplay is awwwwwesome! How the writer did the scene breaks and transitions. I think I didn't missed much on my notes. But alas, it's a bit hollow about content itself, dialogues, etc. Except when it impacts the episode structure.

The two dramas you mention were written by Baek Sun Woo, so the writer of Dr Slump.
I liked "My roomate is a gumiho" but probably had boring moments in the second half, I can't remember how much. Well, you know, it's often like that with this kind of romcom. Just I remember the good comedy at start and the antics of the actress. Very cute one by the way.

We get better the meaning of their name on the phone "my better half".
She has a kind of insanity, like if she were married with Ji Won.
And all her life depends of Ji Won, while she doesn't allow her to be happy on her own.
Maybe she gives the right to Ji Won to be happy only when she's with her.
Now we got proof she's ready to die, if Ji Won dies with her. Yeah INSANE.

Let's say, having good villains is always a +++.
