Actually if you calculate airing time not episodes, this drama airing time is less than average kdrama series. This drama 22 x 35 min = 770 While kdrama 16 x 60 = 960 And for sweet and simple love line drama, its better than kdrama troupe nowadays who mostly focuses in, high society, betraying, marriage affair, conspiracy, murder and cheating. I dont know whats gone wrong with kdrama trend in recent year.

So far for episode 16, all our main characters are focusing in disaster rescue, the scene and story are really good, I think they really has big budget for this drama. The rescue scene feels so real and not overly dramatized, that made over dramatized DOTS earthquake' scene look inferior.

Because c-drama popularity still lower compare kdrama, and translating chinese languange is harder than korean languange. If you watch kdrama more than 2 years you can understand the dialog even without subtitle except for professional term such in medical or law drama, But in cdrama, even if you watch for years, its still quiet hard to understand the dialog without subtitle, too many word that sounds same. Especially in historical drama, it worse.

I Think there's no scene that portrayed africa in this drama. Its not DOTS remake, its based on novel that published in 2012. And ML is a special police / SWAT not army. Police will rarely doing mission in other country except an interpol

You dont know what will really happen from 1 minute trailer, just watch it when episode release, its okay to compare 2 drama when its has the same background, but you can expect all the problem and how the main character solve the problem in the same way, after all its different drama.

I dont know where are you from... but for most asian youth romance is portrayed like this... maybe some story is dramatic... but most part is true to reality... Most asian used to focus in their study till 18 and start serious romance when they entering university. Thats why falling in love is new experience . We became naive, dumb, scared, want to be the best in the eyes of our beloved person.

If you want to watch Another country drama with college, romance and sport genre. You can watch Chinese drama the best you in my mind (archery), skate into love (ice sport), my unicorn girl, sweet tai chi (martial art), sweet combat (boxing), hikaru no go( the game of go)

For medical cdrama, I cant find good one.... maybe healer of children is good but not par with medical kdrama.... but for youth drama about love, friendship & chasing dream.... cdrama always has better story
