The movie was easy to watch and I enjoyed it. The plot was simple. It did feel like watching a drama with it only being crazy fast-paced at the very end. They split the movie, so the movie doesn't really have an ending that ties ups any of the plot so that was a little frustrating. There was a lot of goofy funny Xiao Zhan scenes which I enjoyed, and I think he is still working on his more serious scenes but I think he'll get there. I watched the movie for him and I wasn't disappointed. Now, I'm just waiting on the next installment and hope that it's not going to take years.

Wait are we to believe the young princess is only around 10 years old in the first few episodes? Because there is a 10 year time jump in between when the City master first saves her mother. That's really hard to believe in both terms of looks and well-spoken manner of speech. Unless I missed something?

ohh just found out about this today. the trailer looks good as does the graphics. i will definitely be anticipating this drama.

Caught my eye in Nokdu, so I'm so glad he'll have a main role in True Beauty. I cannot wait!

Just finished this movie and I'm sorry to say I don't recommend it. It was a 50/50 mixture of cheesy melodramatic scenes and fighting scenes with subpar CGI. Wang Yi Zhou's acting was quite poor here. It was neat though to see Nie Huaisang be more than a 'head-shaker' in the movie. Contrary to poster, Meng Yao's character is only featured for a tiny bit in the beginning and end so don't be misled. Maybe watch it to cross it off your list, but I was personally not a fan.

it was a strange and fun short drama. don't be put off by the rating and definitely give it a try if you don't mind weird or atypical stories and humor. I really enjoyed the main leads.

saw a clip from his mood of the day interview. gross comments. implying women need to show skin to let a man knows she's interested?? I liked him in Mr. Sunshine but now I must boycott all his work.

Ahhh I’m already so excited for this!!

I’m getting into Kim wooseok the idol but now I also get to enjoy him as an actor. So far he’s doing great and I love his voice.

The first episode was entertaining for me. I like the tone. I hope it will stay promising.

It kinda steered off course for me in episodes 7/8. A little too dramatic and it should have focused more on the emotions, but came off a bit cheesy/cliche. But it was definitely decent overall because there is really no benchmark for korean bl and the acting was good. It still needed to be way longer to build up any decent anticipation and character development. I really hope korean bl will be a big thing one day.

I just finished this drama. I can’t say I personally recommend it. It didn’t stir emotions for me and I didn’t really get attached to any secondary characters. The leads did have a few cute moments though. I watched this drama for Jung Hae In primarily and for that reason alone I don’t regret it. But the plot and characters were not my cup of tea, even though the acting was by no means bad.

Okay I guess we’ll have to wait and see. It’s clearly labeled as BL but to what extent is unknown. I have my doubts because korea has been pretty conservative with gay characters skinship so far, but I guess they have to start somewhere. Can only hope that they portray the feelings clearly without being ambiguous about it.
