Is it just me or does anyone else also think this drama is giving strong "Gone with the wind" vibes with the FL reminding of Scarlett O'Hara and the ML of Rhett Butler.
They are clearly moving too fast and when the new love , pink tinted glasses wear off , they will find nothing but fallacies in each other. Its so difficult sticking with a drama that has this cute couple and yet you know in the end they are gonna break up. Its like watching a train wreck in slow motion. But thats how life is. Many people come into our lives for a purpose and when they leave, they leave us with important life lessons and emotionally stronger. I guess, Yumi and Woong too will find themselves happier separated than together.
The best part about YAMG is that there are no villains(no vampy exes or crazy parents). Its a mature story and the relationship between the leads is no love at first sight or irrational. They have had their share of heartbreaks and are pragmatic about their future and their ability to balance their personal and professional lives.
Peng Pai....he seems , at first glance, a successful, even tempered nice kind of guy but why is he in the wrong all the time? Why does he irk me so much?
I am loving the drama so far but my only complaint would be the fact that every body wears full pants as part of their professional gaming uniform while Smiling wears that black short skirt. Umm...did the makers think that girls have not been introduced to pants yet?
Wow people are dying left and right. Why did they have to kill the uncle's partner!!?? He was way too young. In most dramas, doctors are shown as miracle workers and here everyone is dying on Xia Chu. And finally, Mi Gu must die. Or atleast jailterm for being such a nincompoop.
Oh i loved episode 9! That is why people should sit down and listen to each other's side of story before jumping to conclusions. The main leads are growing on me now. Also thank god the FL is cranky, petty and self-centered. That makes her relatable and humanly flawed.
Started promising and becoming another forgettable series.
and not to mention, i have this hate towards misunderstanding tropes. I mean, just talk it out! whats with Chumu gallivanting with some random woman and Fu Ruo being all chummy with the Prince. They began as a strong couple but now everything has gone astray.
His character still has a lot more nuanced and development than the the very bland and boring lead couple. Even…
And what lovely revenge that was! I was left waiting and waiting. Like she had no plan. She legit threw herself in such a tragic situation and most likely fell in love with that asshole. Like what shade of stupid are you.
And finally, Mi Gu must die. Or atleast jailterm for being such a nincompoop.
