Ep 22,23,24 - So much is happening and all I could understand is that the 2nd Prince grabbed power somehow. And Xiaoqi is fighting his own issues somewhere. It seems like the 2nd prince will die first. By the way, why cant the guy always beside Xiaoqi be the spy? Afterall Huai en is always beside Awu and that kind of makes him a bad spy.

Huai en could become a threat when xioaqi goes against the wangs and then awu will come between her father and her husband and obviously try to protect the latter. But I still hope its someone else who is going to be the spy.

Damn that is exactly how i feel watching raw episodes. But i miss xiaoqi-awu scenes. All these power struggles and constant conspiracy is making me nervous.

The general that Awu recruited did mention that there is a mole in Xiaoqi's army. That could be Huai or literally anybody

I think the best thing about Xiao Qi is his humility. He is extremely successful and capable. Yet in his head he is just a simple soldier and he does not think it to be necessary to be assertive or ferocious or dominating to exert his might. He just wants to love his woman and literally worship her in his subtle loving way. *Sigh* After watching so many jerky MLs , Xiao Qi is like that wakeup call for us to just be a good human being , inside out.

I think its because the love story began too late in Minglan and it was never really the centre-stage of the drama.

I dislike Awu's father but I cant bring myself to hate him. He was right when he said Zidan was not strong enough to deserve the princess's love and he also recognised the potential in Xiao Qi when the rest nobility were turning their nose up. Also I think he loves his wife and Awu and would not let any harm come their way.
