Phap suffers because he gives all this good advice and moral support to the man he loves, but his beloved one…
The question that Maze asks is one of those sentiments that is so common in Thai BL that I do sometimes wonder if it is actually unusual to do kind things for people who need help in Thailand. LOL. I know it can't be true, but sometimes it seems from the series that if I was choking on something in a restaurant in Thailand surrounded by people trained in the Heimlich maneuver, I'd fall over dead before anyone got involved. The guests will be thinking "is he my family member? No. Is he a friend? No. Is he a love interest? No. Well, not my problem them." Side characters go through that decision tree all the time to jump to the conclusion that anyone doing nice and decent things for a relative stranger must be motivated by love. Main characters are confusted into jealous snits all the time by decent behavior.

A certain section of the audience lacks a sense of humor and cannot separate fiction from reality. ;-)
He’s lucky he’s a schtupping the boss, cause I would have fired him after he rudely drank the water, and I can tolerate a lot of nincompoopery at work.

I totally don't get the ending of episode 8, since it was Phap himself to tell Maze to clarify things... ^^'I'm…
I think it’s just the standard BL jealousy trope. Phab sees Neung as a love rival. Rolls eyes. Lordy, kiddo. Your boyfriend needs to reconcile with his step brother, even if Neung has never given any signs of reciprocating Maze’s feelings. These men are so insecure.

I’m just happy to see ChukChuk working again. Hopefully he won’t get dognapped in this series #mydayI’ll…
Given that diplomatic relationships between the Philippines and the royal house of Zenuvia are such that deposed monarchs are allowed to hide out in the country, you'd think that learning the language would be a priority. Its not like the Czechs or the Kenyan's are being helpful here. LOL.

"born-rivals to bandmates to onesided-love to not-really-friends to lovers" okay i get this one but "just BUDDIES"…
Yeah. I don’t get this. PDA is considered rude in Thailand. So they aren’t going to be kissing in front of friends and strangers. They aren’t buddies.

Nanon has changed quite a bit, but Ohm is the same kid, just resized and expanded proportionally. Like he just clicked and dragged himself into adulthood.

Apparently unpopular opinion: Pran's mother made the right decison (or at least "a" right decision if not "the")…
I wouldn't use the word "abusive" myself. But both parents did manipulate their kids to hate each other in ways that robbed them of the chance to be friends. I mean, shit happens, but they were neighbor kids, which is pretty much the most natural way to make friends when you're a kid and can't easily move about on your own to see friends who liver farther away.

Pran wasn't 13. He was 16 and its not like she didn't know he had a guitar. That guitar didn't buy itself. I think he was playing because Pat was playing and once he was away from Pat, he didn't feel the need. But I agree on not allowing him to pursue a degree in music, but Pran would have stopped playing anyway.

God. I was so happy that they were crying together. Its like they are a couple! Usually in Thai BL something like this will cause one of them to withdraw to avoid sharing their hurt with their "lover." But if you aren't willing to be there when your lover is upset or don't want to lay your problems on your lover, what's the point of having a lover? It gave me hope that they will stick around with each other and figure out how to fight on.

Am i the only one who feel dissapointed about how they change the conflict in drama from novel? I know, what Pat’s…
The business problem may be clearer, but I don't think kids these days quite understand how awful 1997 was. Its way over their heads. It was 25 years ago and the audience for this thing is like 14-18. I like this conflict because the revelation caused them to reevaluate their parents. Its not so simple as we usually get. Pran's mom is really upset that she didn't have a different life. That's quite a burden to put out for for your child, since he's a part of the life that she had. Pat's dad did something wrong that he really can't correct all that simply either. I'm curious to see how they respond now. The kids were right to be hopeful that this could all be solved the way ex-lovers solve their problems, but they were way too hopeful. A business rivalry can be solved by just merging the businesses together.

I'll be honest if the parent issue is some lame rivalry with their business, I will be disappointed. I want something…
All I hope, for the love of Christmas, is that whatever it was, it doesn’t involve some kind of parentage screw up so that we have to worry that they are 1/2 brother lovers for a few episodes. This is BL after all. It could happen.

I’m guessing this will just turn out to be something stupid. If this were the only Thai series I’d ever watched and everything I knew about Thailand came from this series, I’d say that Thai men are extremely stubborn and will take every opportunity to escalate the most minor slight into physical violence. The parents might be the students, but older. Sheesh. Even a room full of Vikings would look at the behaviour of these young men and go “You might want to turn it down a notch. You’re not roosters, you know.”

I’m glad they aren’t doing the that BL dreamworld thing where all of the friends start turning gay. Yeah, Wai was bad, but I was glad this wasn’t another one of those “the only reason a character ever gets mad about the couple is because they are in love with one of them.” That was an interesting twist 5 years ago.

I was so anxious during that whole balcony scene. I was waiting for Pran’s mom to come in. I had to watch it a second time to get the feels.

wai’s character is giving very much lhong from tharntype with the way he’s moving so far…
Yeah. I think Wai wouldn’t do this if Pran hadn’t been lying to him and if it had been anyone else but Pat. Though the reason Pran was lying to him was he knew how Wai would react. Lhong would hurt anyone close to Tharn.

Whhhhyyyyy are they airing only 1 episode per week sobsobsobsobson
Maybe because they GMM has a broadcast TV license and they know that their customers actually don't want to spend 14 hours watching the series in one sitting.

Haven't you all considered that making Todd so obviously suspicious may well be a deliberate red herring?
My list of suspects:
1) Tawi - Although this would be a rather boring plot point, since Black and crew have been harassing him and he's powerful, he may have just been caught. He's got motive. He's got means. What he doesn't have is any dramatic possibilities.
2) Dad - finding it hard to believe that he's not been tracking Black. He prefers White, and knows that White being close to Black will reveal their freaky disease. Plus Black's activism is embarrassing to him.
3) Tod - Maybe he gets something from both Black and White biting the big one.
4) Gram - since Black is closest to Gram, Gram might be the only one of the group who knows about the twin, so isn't shocked by the ruse. Motive unknown.
5) Someone else, tbd. Its only episode 1.

I'm a little surprised by this, because MDL lists the author as the same one who wrote Together With Me and related…
I don't think deals are possible when it comes to fanfic. It wouldn't get produced otherwise. Most celebrities and especially their agencies want licensing revenue and image control. I don't think fanfic should be monetized because of that. That's the trade off one makes for writing, say, a novel about Mr. Sulu meeting Dr. Who when he was a boy which inspired him to join Princess Leia and the resistance to the Empire. (It's a Death Star with Photon Torpedos which Cedric Diggory destroys using a Tardis spell! Sorry to spoil it for you.)

I don't see the poison fruit here, though.

GOT7 fans wanna ban Not me because the book was based on a fanfic related to GOT7 artists. #banNotMe is trending…
I'm a little surprised by this, because MDL lists the author as the same one who wrote Together With Me and related series. None of those seem like fanfic. On the one hand, I do think that GMM adapting fanfic at this point shows that there's so much BL getting filmed at the moment that they'll buy the rights to anything that's been written that's had a few thousand readers. But I'm fine with it as long as they change the names. BL and slash fic are very closely tied together.

Does anyone know why it is such a big thing for them? I've seen the # on my twt but i don't understand the case.…
Because someone wrote a novel fantasizing that members of GOT7 are having sex with each other and therefore the non-BL fans want to protect their honor. Whatever. Just like with Nitiman, the K-Pop fans can take a chill pill about that. Their idol's were not harmed in this adaptation. Its not even poison fruit.

Like Nitiman, no one actually believes that the members of GOT7 went and attended a Thai University. And no one believes that GOT7 are underground anarchists with twin brothers who feel each other's pain.

I am shocked: how could the Thai authorities allow this series to be released? It is quite political. The plot…
I was surprised by the populist politics as well, since GMMTV is an establishment media outlet to say the least. That said, we'll see how the story goes. It could end up like Tale of 1000 stars, which ended up punting on the political message by having the village leader give off the message that "justice will never be served anyway, so work on forgiving yourself." (Sure things are unjust, but do you know how hard it is for the rich to deal with their guilt? So hard for them.)

I think the politician who the villain is based on is a certain politician who is in the out party anyway. A party that has been dissolved. I'm not going to be surprised to find out that the "good guys" in the end are all those current political leaders who'll be portrayed as fighting corruption, too. (Yeah, right).
