O.K. after ep 10, I don't see Namgoong getting together with So Hee. Was worried that they were going with that. But I think he actually looks down on her too much to end up with her. Thank God.

That said, he does love someone or he wouldn't have been going to teacher Seo with his unrequited love problems. I wonder who it is? I'm thinking it is Shin Woo.

Maybe the teacher couldn't be found because he was busy watching some other boys sleeping.

So Hee only ends up with Shi Woon only because the law of land dictates that every one of the boys must be paired up by the end or the story is somehow incomplete. Shi Woon is a good boy, but I won't feel sad at all if at the end of the story, he's still single. Why writers do this is beyond me.

The subber has the easiest subbing job ever. No one ever talks over another character and they always pause before speaking. This would also be a good series for someone who was learning Korean at Level II. It plays like a lot of dialog we used to get on tapes to listen to in language classes.

I'm guessing that the secret trauma that Shi Woon is hiding is that he comes from a family of 9 and has always had a tough time getting food at the table. He's like a wolf pup the way he guards those chips. Grrr. Grrr.

The actual villain of this episode is the damn hotel owner. What on earth could be so urgent that he requires the presence of the student council president at 10:00pm. And for several hours. (Though dammit, Da On. I know you are kind and thoughtful, but just because someone tells you something is urgent, doesn't mean you have assume that it is and treat it as such. Just tell the student to go back to the Manager and say "He'll be with you in a few minutes." Act like the big tuna for a change.) I'm sure it was something like "I'm sorry, sir, the bacon order didn't arrive and so we have to decide whether to have scrambled eggs with no sides, or switch over to pancakes" and Da On labored over the decision for 2 hours. Gah!

Oh, and its kind of creepy for a teacher to watch over TK while he was sleeping. I guess they could be worried that he had a concussion, but he's not on death watch. Creepy creepy.

Its not really that out there as an idea. Its not actually that different than telling gays that you accept them but that they can't be having sex with each other or they'll go to Hell.

Ugh. It’s that thing where someone hides important information because it will make someone upset, which then makes everyone more upset. Sheesh, Phob. Just tell him you’re moving. He’s already mad at you for not telling him. Let him process the truth.

Mean is pulling out the flashbacks here. Hard to move the story forward when the characters stop to remember the immediate past. That’s what’s slowing down the feel of pacing down. Hopefully he’s got other tricks to extend the series to ten hours.

Hmmm. I think we need to invite Bank and Petch over for a little talk. We’ll just chat about reflecting on your feelings while watching some of the hotter steamy make out scenes from Addicted. Then I’ll just leave and lock them in my apartment alone together and come back the next day to see if they’ve mated. They seem like if they came across Sky and Sun making out, it would finally click in their heads for them what the next step should be.

Dew wrote “remember me when you’re famous” on Best’s shirt.

Best started to write “I like you” on Dew’s shirt, but chickened out after seeing Fern’s message and couldn’t finished. He just wrote nonsense. Something like “I li”.

Dew wrote the same nonsense in Best’s book. “I li”. He was repeating Best’s message back to him.

They should have handed over the script writing duties to the writers of Happenstance or The Unguarded this episode. When Reb knocks over the box, in a plot twist, Aaliyah’s corpse falls out.

Anyway, Reb annoyed me this episode.

Saving my first kiss for true love isn’t exactly weird. Although in this case, the whole thing started with Reb coming over to record having sex with JM to post online. So he’s one of THOSE kind of hookups. The “sex is o.k. But no kissing” types. That doesn’t fit his personality, though. He seems like he’d be the type who’d save his first kiss and first sexual experience for someone he was in love with. I guess that’s what provoked his anxiety attack in ep. 1.

It’s usually guys like JM though who do the “sex but no kissing” routine. Save those kisses for girls because that’s too intimate for guys.

Dude, he didn’t want to succeed because he wanted you back. He wanted to succeed without you to shove it in your face. You Left without so much as a goodbye and did you fly your rich ass back from America when he was in a coma? 7 years and not even a “how ya doing?” And for the record, bub, there aren’t rockets and balloons in the Little Prince and it isn’t a story about one boy’s love for a rose.

That said, these two bozos better turn off the vacuum in their hearts that’s been sucking in their emotions and get it on five minutes in to ep 12.

Yeah. Our sense of justice is certainly not emotionally validated by this ending. She didn’t actually win, though. Her actions mean he is being sent away. I’m sure in Chaing Mai, he’ll meet some nice boy named Phukhea and his father will be reasonable about it. While Dew never came out and admitted he likes guys, he never denied it either. If he comes back to Bangkok, it will be to see Best. (Although they act like it’s 1910 and there’s no way to communicate with each other. Like moving to Chaing Mai is like moving Mars).

Well that he does. Maybe as he struggles to make it big with the band, he takes a part time job as a lifeguard or something seedier that requires less clothing.

I'm not really all that sad about the ending. Since Best didn't actually take his chance (and he had several), its not like they had become a couple. I think we'd basically seen all of their conversations and they had never been even on a date. Had they gotten to know each other more, I would have liked to see them fight on together against the mother, but as it stands, had there been some big dramatic scene where Dew stood up for himself, I'd have to wonder what beyond a feeling would he have been fighting for.

Anyway, I hope that this is just the prequel to their next series where they meet again. Post college, so War doesn't have to dress in blue shorts.

At one point I did track down the global traffic fatality statistics and confirmed that Thailand is around the global average for those kinds of deaths. However, I think they do lead the world in fictional traffic fatalities by a wide margin. Sheesh. Thai fictional characters aimlessly step out into the middle of busy highways without looking and always appear to be shocked that a car is about to run them down. What did they expect to find?

I don't know what to make of this mafia. Based on how the Boss is checking out Dan's ass when they are alone, I can see why he's hired Din and Khet. Definitely a casting couch going on here to get into the mob. That should make Dan's job easier. Just take him to a hotel room, remove his clothes, engage in a little foreplay, and then a few stabs with an ice pick ought to take care of him. Worked for Jael, although I think she used a tent stake.

Anyway, the gay mafia here seems a bit sloppy and less than efficient. Yeah, they were able to kill Than's mom, they must have driven around the block 100s of times before she conveniently lost her mind and stepped out in the road. Their hitmen must get paid by the hour. Twice Khet has been allowed to let someone go who he was supposed to kill. "Sure boss. Yeah, I killed Din and buried him myself which is why there wasn't any body." I'm actually surprised he didn't hand Din Black Dragon pills to help him recover more quickly.

For reasons we still don’t understand, TK met Shiwoon by jamming a dildo into his hindquarters. Why SW was carrying 3 dildos in the hall of his school has never been explained. How one managed to fall from the box is also a mystery. But I think Fate is trying to send a message to both of them.

If you look at the opening scene on the beach, TK says that one of the three boys is his first love. Shi Woon and Da On are shot in a way that makes me think they could become a couple. We are still 18 months away from that in the story timeline. So your wish might come true. Not 100%, but who knows.

I agree on the sweater. I was thinking "that's the suave outfit you put on to win a girl's heart. come on, kid. That ain't working."
