I get how this is so similar to WWWSK but I just can’t get myself to like this one. I feel like the FL is too bland and ML too comedic idk I can’t pinpoint it. The chemistry between second leads were the main highlight for me. I finished the drama because I wanted to see their ending. The storyline of the main lead got boring for me. What made me like WWWSK was the chemistry between the leads. Their acting really carried the show. Maybe it’s because they’re more seasoned actors?
Please I cannot go on without crying at every episode. I’m already a mess at episode 4.
The part where she was ready to forgive him for cheating. He didn’t want her to forgive him because he didn’t want to marry her but he was too cowardly to let her go. Ughhhh when she stayed in the bed without changing her clothes and everything made her cry? Same girl same!!!! IDC about male lead or other guys in this drama I root for my girl bora. Himnaeyo 😭🤧
This keeps getting better. The bromance, the friendship, the comedy and the fantasy all done so well. It’s gonna be a cryfest if anything happens to Moo yeong. Please I love the trio already.
It's an above average series which is worth the watch. Don't listen to these FL criticism in the comments. She…
Bruh no one is asking for a strong/bossy FL. Her character being timid and well mannered doesn’t mean she didn’t feel anything in the drama. Whether she’s happy or sad or mad or curious it just looks like the same expression. So unnatural and stiff. I’m not even expecting her to do very detailed acting. I just wish it didn’t stick out like a sore thumb throughout the drama. Just ruined the entire experience for me.
FL’s stiff acting was just extremely hard to watch throughout the drama. I kept watching because of the plot and it was fun to watch Hansu solve cases. I wanted to like the drama so I mostly skip the romantic scenes. However the last few episodes were a disaster. The direction was nonsensical and characters weren’t consistent. I have more empathy for minister yoo and his son rather than the royal family. All the evil things he did were unforgivable but at least he had a reason why he became like that. He got what he deserved at the end. The royal family was equally guilty for the death of Hansu’s family. Also for people saying it’s not her fault and there’s nothing with them ending up together.. the royal family is still alive and suffered no consequences even when they killed off his entire family. Lastly what I hated the most was the incompetent king. Never have I ever hated a king who isn’t a villain before. His ego was more important to him than a person’s life. Overall, this drama is a wasted potential.
It’s fun, light and fluffy. Something you can watch every time you want something light and entertaining. The main cast and their chemistry really carried this drama. Cliche but executed really well.
Satisfied with the ending. I think it should’ve ended with 16 episodes. There were filler episodes in between and some actions scenes were not executed well. But still a fun watch. Started without any expectations and ended up enjoying it so much. In recent times this is a rare sageuk where I enjoyed the romance and comedy aspect apart from the plot. The plot wasn’t the best but still good enough to keep us hooked to the drama. I like the fact that the love triangle was barely there and side characters were not used as a convenient way to create misunderstanding. All the characters were likeable and got the ending they deserved. The actors have done a great job for a rookie cast.
Thinking of starting this: what's it like? Does it drag? I've never been able to complete a sageuk before because…
Perfectly balanced imo. I prefer no romance in most kdrama these days because it just feels forced and unnecessary to the plot. However this one is an exception. It gets a bit draggy in one or two episode but it picks up the pace again. It’s fun to watch.
Damn the royal family is annoying af. The king and Dowager queen are unbearably snobbish. This drama did so dirty…
The king decided to kill her instead because his ego got hurt? I’m done. Why would KHS come and beg him for help when he’s been useless the whole time? Not one consideration for a family who sacrificed so much for the royal family. Please the audacity! Congratulations for being so incompetent and now selfish. If KHS end up with the princess now it’ll be joke.
Damn the royal family is annoying af. The king and Dowager queen are unbearably snobbish. This drama did so dirty to the princess in the last few episodes. The royal siblings are taking turns being useless.
