Ep 8 was good!
First, I'm glad that they're including horror/creepy scenes again. They never fail to deliver these scenes. The highlight of this ep was Yeon choosing Rang. The flashback where Yeon let Rang win in Baduk was so cute. I want those two to reconcile asap. Hopefully they'll keep up the same pace in ep 9. Can't wait to see Ji Ah meet her mom and find out what actually happened to her family before the accident.

Finding it really hard to get attached to any of the characters in the drama. All of them are annoying. The evil people are rotten to the core and the good guys are naive and plain stupid which makes it really hard to sympathize them. The kids are bratty and unbearable, even Bae Ro Na.

Do San and Dal Mi are cute together but Han Ji Pyunghas my heart. Didn't expect much from this drama but I'm loving it. Can't wait for the next ep

This drama is so heartwarming and nostalgic. I loved every single character. I loved the gang, the relationship between the siblings, the ahjummas and ahjussis. Although I'm a 90's kid there were many things and characters I can relate to. Their neighborhood and their way of life reminded me of my childhood.
I really enjoyed every episode. I didn't want this to end. My only complain is that I wish they showed more of how they lived after moving out of the neighborhood. I'm not a fan of slice of life but this one is an exception. One of the best kdramas I've watched. I'll definitely come back for this again.

Just fnished watching Waikiki 1 and I loved it! I was laughing the entire time.
Because of s1 I started S2. Currently I'm on the 5th ep. I gotta agree with people here, the comedy feels forced.

I find her character annoying at times too. Unfortunately there was no character development.

Damn girl. 'Perfect husband despite lying about his identity'. Oh what was his identity? A suspected serial murderer! And who was she? A friggin cop!
That's not your everyday couple and not a normal issue that can be resolved by communicating.
Who in their right mind won't question his sincerity? He lied about his identity for 15 years.

I like the ending but I really want it to be longer.
Still, I would've been fine with everything if they ended it with the dinner scene. I desperately wanted to see it happen.

This drama is my guilty pleasure. It's full of cliches and cheesy scenes. You're definitely gonna be disappointed if you're expecting a strong plot.
I was hesitant to start this because Cdramas aren't my cup of tea and it's rare to find fluffy rom coms which I really enjoy (out of the many romcoms I watch). Unlike the majority, I find the FL character lovable. Even though she's spoiled, she's not mean, dumb or naive. The ML character lacked depth but they were so cute together! I wish they gave less screen time to the second couple. I skipped through all their scenes.

Overall- the drama did it's job, the leads are visually pleasing and if another season comes out, I'll watch it.
