They had to cut it down a lot. It originally was a longer series but the gov wants shorter formats of 40 ep. I think it's still the best one so far this year in this genre. ♥

Give it time. You expect them to jump on each other in the first 3 episodes? It's a slow burn. They have to appreciate each other first as in all good relationships.♥

This is definitely a good watch. It is action packed and the characters growth is amazing. I really enjoyed this series. I prefer this one. The change in ML for the second part didn't do it justice. ♥

Yes this is a different side to Zhao Lusi. I love how she switches between her fun loving side and her serious side. This makes her unique. I will say Zhao Lusi is very good at comedy but this also shows she can do a mature roll as well. Her performance is outstanding. ♥

He/king did give her lots of chances. He even asked her to be on the same page as him. Did she? Nope. She wanted it all. Her son / prince did his own thing against her wishes. He lost in the end. Finally the king had no choice but to ask her to take her life and made sure her son saw it. Now her son knows what the other prince went through when he lost his mother/first queen. Evil is evil through and through. ♥

The dubbing also has to do with accents. There are many accents in China. It's like the Texas drawl or a Cockney accent to us. They may be speaking English but the accent changes it. ♥

Yah never know how they will interpret it in a series. It could change considerably. As long as the story is good. ♥

Ms. Huan is totally jealous of FL. She will do anything to stop her. Her precious charge. She thinks maybe she can be a concubine to his highness. She also notices how distracted ML is with FL. All will be revealed.♥

Definately in spades. Don't know why she was sent to him at such a young age. I hope we find out. ♥

I think we have been shown glimpses of it. The scene in the restricted ancestral hall with the prince and princess agreeing to keep their visit secret. ML already has met FL before. All will be revealed soon. ♥

I agree with you about the father but he knows the Queen and her second son is behind a lot of it. He is trying to keep his kingdom stable without upsets. At the same time he isn't providing any protection for his sons. He is turning a blind eye. His reason? He went through the same thing to take his own throne. *sigh May Peace Rule throughout the Kingdom. Probably not. All double "H" is going to break out very soon.♥

He did get from the King the ability to live outside of the capital and was financed as well. Hopefully he take them up on it and removes himself out of harms way. At least the Queen has decided not to use him any longer. He has to push ML away so he can't be used against him. ♥

Trailers can be confusing. I make a point of not watching them. It's hard sometimes but I restrain myself. hahahaha ♥
