Started watching this on youtube but the subs were atrocious so i found it on iqiyi....only on ep 7 so far. So far im liking it...the only thing that ill say that has ruined the imersion for me was when she brought him the white outfit and his body was CGI! I died laughing! Like ive heard of dramas using beauty filters, rigs to do princess carries, and fake silicone chest plates for male actors...but now were even CGIing muscles 🤣🤣🤣 i love it here!

This show has one of the best musical scores ive heard in a while! I really like the OST! Its soooo pretty

I have been thinking this same thing. I was suspicious of him since his first appearance. I also think the emporer is aware that he is not to be trusted hence why he said he would test him with being the chief commander. I think the emporer did it so that Suige would be more aware of his presence and eliminate him before he gets into power and its too late. The emporer isnt the villain here and he loves his son. I think he has dont everything the way he has because as we all know from these dramas the emporer may have power but the men in his cabinet may be ants but theyre soldier ants who at any moment could turn on him so he has to move smart and in the shadows to rid the ones who cant be trusted. At least thats what im hoping. The sister is pissing me off tho. Shes too blinded by a pretty face and shes going to get a lot of ppl killed. I hope the empress and all her family are wiped out. Idk about the youngest prince yet. As long as he doesnt become vengeful towards suige later i think he may be ok....well see! But yeah Marquis Jr....i dont trust him! He seems like a snake ...but i hope im wrong. Suige already had no one so for his bestie to be his enemy...hes going to snap...i also kind want to see him snap....his angry face is ...whewee that man is so damn sexy!

So far i am OBSESSED with this drama. Loving everything....but hawt dang the subtitles on youtube are hawt 🗑! Its like deciphering ancient aztec that was written in alien slang! Is there somewhere else with better subtitles?

Everytime he "saved" her was all apart of her plan. Like he said...she was always the one holding the sword...it also gave the opportunity to form trust between them. She wanted to see how far he would go for her also. In the "burn the enchantress" episode it clearly points out how men usually use women as pawns to evade fault so for him to sacrafice for her showed that his "love" wasnt as superficial as she thought.

Him being in love with her before he even knew who she was, was such a plot twist! That woman literal became the woman that would later take her man and didnt even know it! See this is why its always best to just be yourself lol i loved this drama! Short, sweet, and amazing!

Hes known since like episode 2! And i believe episode 5 is when he admits he knew. So they don't harsh on it for 30 episodes like most dramas do.

Dont like that stop you from watching...trust me. It gets good!

I think it might just be the makeup because when shes not wearing it she doesnt look so aged

Just started this drama. On ep. 7 now. So far it isnt bad. Its funny and i love the plot.....but the fl is getting on my nerves! Shes kinda dumb. And idk why but i dont like the casting for her character. She looks old to me. Maybe its the makeup aging her but im not a fan of her being paired with the ml....i think thats also why her character is annoying me so badly. Shes so childish but looks so old at times.

I loved Bai Shu in youthful glory...im excited to see him play the villain. I am however nervous. I can already tell im gonna fall in love with some characters and we all know how Wuxias treated beloved characters! I hope this isnt one of those!
