I'm always confused when people are just evil with the pettiest reasons - show or real life. How were you raised to just be outright cruel and lack any common decency to interact and treat others? 😮💨
That was a devastating ending. I don't know why people are so mad about it. I feel like in a lot of these disaster shows/movies, your worst enemy is always the human. They're the monster.
Also, for those saying why they hesitated to kill him, it's not easy to shoot at another human. They didn't even kill the prisoners, they had the spheres do it for them. They weren't delusional like Young Soo was, so even when they shot him, they didn't shoot to kill. It's just so sad that it ended that way.
lol SAs an unconscious girl and then kills the guy who protects her and then blames it on everything else excepts for himself. dude obviously had questionable morals and lacked empathy. he was the one that stayed back while everyone else went to go rescue their friends, right? saw the spoilers saying one of the student goes delusional and kills everyone and immediately guessed it'd be him.
sometimes I wonder if a show only had smart and competent people, how it would be. would it be boring? I dont think so. but I guess it's too unrealistic to have a disaster break out and only have competent brave people to deal with it. I mean, even some of the soldiers ran away.
fell in love with Nara though. on ep 5 and I hope she doesn't die 😭
4th sister had the best storyline so far. it had funny moments, cute moments, and angsty-ish moments mixed with some fun court cases thrown in. these 2 are now on my watch list for any future shows. I've seen him in something but not the sister.
2nd sister story wasn't anything crazy but was necessary for the whole family to settle in a new area and support her. was kind of just lighthearted with some 'taming' your husband moments lol
3rd sisters story I like (call me biased cause I like the actor and actress haha) I like that they were 2 smart people trying to outwit one another and were also prideful, almost to a fault. I did think the "misunderstandings" went on for a little longer than necessary though. they obviously both liked each other and it really felt unnecessary to throw in misunderstandings and the whole disapproving MIL trope to keep them apart.
eldest sisters story was perfect for her. it was elegant, calm, and showed her resilience in providing support for those around her.
5th sisters story is still ongoing but I'm just a liiiiiittle over her beating people up. while it's nice to see that she doesn't take BS from anyone, beating up anyone who wrongs her gets old pretty fast.
can't wait for the last few episodes. still hoping the twin brother shows up!
Honestly, it's been quite fun to watch how different each of these relationships form and develop. I've quite liked watching so far up to ep21. Each character is distinct and each relationship dynamic is quite different from the next. live watching all the son-in-laws fall head over heals for their wives 🫣😂😊
honestly, yeah LMAO the second he got amnesia they were super cute and even before that the little smirk he had when he made her write scriptures through the night had me giggling. want to see what it'll be like once he gets his memories back.
i understand that the princess has trauma but her actions are terrible and she literally has no redeeming qualities 😮💨 she's overbearing, lacks common sense, stubborn to no end, doesn't think of anyone but herself, and the list goes on. I hope she changes a little by the time the show ends, but there's only 5 episodes left 🫣
I'm sure people will hate me for this, but the FL kind of has no charisma. Like, if the scene/camera didn't focus on her I'd think she was just some support character I don't need to pay attention to. Her acting is... okay? Not horrible, not great but just not really captivating.
Sad. It has an 8.4 rating so I was hopefuly it'd be good but reading some comments and watching the 1st episodes, I'm already doubting.
The father and mistress already piss me off LOL can someone just spoil the whole thing for me? TLDR of the entire show? lol
I don't get why it has such a low rating when it has barely started. Besides for the "friend" that deserves to be buried alive, I don't think any of the characters have been so terrible - especially compared to other C-dramas I've watched. Yes, the cousin/sister's husband is annoying and definitely has questionable morals but even he stood up for her and her family when he found out what that "friend" did. Not the sharpest, obviously, but also not horrible. ML'S mom while annoying definitely isn't the worst C-drama mother I've witnessed. I enjoy the sister bonding story and really wonder if her twin brother is somehow alive and just lost his memory and is currently living as someone else. I assume this would be a part of the plot given they said they never found his body. Also LOL Winwin. Never thought I'd see him in a drama and for him to play such a d-bag. what a surprise lol
overall, will continue watching. it's fun and light hearted for the most part with obvious other undertones. not the best, not the worst I've seen.
no lie, I was watching everything fine no tears. and then ep 7, they just had to bring in an injured doggie that stayed by the man's side. that was a twist i didn't see coming. 😭😭😭 good boy 🐕
My issue with this season was that it felt rushed. We didn't get that same connection with the characters from Season 1. I mean, I probably would've felt sadder if there was just a little more time to see the blooming relationship between Hyun Ju and the other girl. I also liked Se Mi but she was barely even shown. The father with the terminal daughter also would've hit me more but he was also barely onscreen. I'm assuming they left the mom/son pair and the pregnant girl/ex-bf pair for season 3. Hated that Gi Hun's friend didn't just tell him how brutally 001 killed the guy during the game and hated that Gi Hun didn't suspect 001. like c'mon. Hyun Ju and Jung Bae were the 🐐 at the end. Felt like Hyun Ju was the only one that actually knew what she was doing. Sad that we had to see Jung Bae go but it was obvious. LOL TOP's character was just entertaining. Annoying, but entertaining. Ugh, Dae Ho, why?!?! You should've just let Hyun Ju get the ammo or just go with. It was clear, he was out of his wits by seeing how he's not even shooting correctly and just wasting bullets. whelp, that was a fun binge. can't wait for season 3.oh, and lol of course the boat captain was a traitor. can't trust nobody. oh, how could I forget. I honestly thought that No Eul was somehow going to save the father character at the end and thought it'd be funny since they were also in Sweet Home together. but I am intrigued in seeing her role and how it develops.
okay, so what we know. BSE: Not the real son HHJ: Not the real wife, selectively mute In-A: Is back, what does she want? Sang-Woo: Lived in an orphanage, was playmates with the real BSE?
I'm curious to know what happened back then and why they replaced their son knowing he was alive or they thought he died? and also, who is BSE if he's a replacement? Was he also an orphan?
Lastly, everyone thinks BSE is married to the older sister. Legally, I assume they didn't sign papers? Cause wouldn't that just be messy? lol
It was funny that I was like the 3 men will all drink the wine on her behalf and that's what happened. Honestly, I didn't read the ssynopsis going in and watched because I like JZ and LQ a lot. Didn't think I'd be bawling my eyes out when she passed away. I love that she was surrounded by so many good people at the end who mourned her death as she had a rough start but always had good intent and made great impact. I also understand why they left Ya Mi to survive and killed off his sister. His sister and him chose completely different paths and though they were both used by the same evil leader, Ya Mi still stayed, for the most part, eerily neutral in most things. He killed, yes, but only when told so and he didn't enjoy it like the others. This isn't to say Miao Shuo enjoyed killing but she definitely didn't hold back. It was a brief reunion but I still felt happy that they knew that one another were still alive.
I don't know why but I greatly enjoyed Ya Mi's character - maybe it's the actor but he felt wonderful to watch on screen in this role.
Overall, I thought it was a pretty solid show. I actually loved the beginning episodes because you can really see when their feelings towards each other really developed. One of the bittersweet ending shows where I felt one of the leads dying made sense and didn't die because of a stupid reason or just to have a SE.
that was such a lethal move, to promote the mistress and then fire her. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 and the way JWJ dealt the final blows when she confronted he l him? chef's kiss

nvm. lol she knew what she was doing. go girl go.
edit: ep8 was just a cry fest. 😭
