with so many popular names in the cast I totally forgot who's actually already acted with whom. it's like a big reunion haha
Lee Jae Wook, Go Youn Jung, Yoo In Soo, and Bae Gang Hee - Alchemy of Soul Lee Do Hyun and Ryeoun - 18 Again Lee Do Hyun and Go Youn Jung - Sweet Home S1 Lee Do Hyun and Bae Gang Hee - The Glory
and I feel like I'm definitely missing some of the other supporting actors
I'm reading the webtoon now and I'm just waiting to see if they cast Teddy, Jimmy, Gerard, Jake, and some of the other bigger characters in the books that are missing.
just finished reading the chapters on this part and I gotta say, they made Beom Suk much more gray here. in the webtoon, the guy had no Redemption and readers would not have felt bad for him. it's also interesting the characters they added and the plots a bit different. overall, they did great with highlighting the important points from the webtoon while giving it good live action story.
lol I'm not for or against the removal of the BL aspect if it works for the show. but I'm curious. if the age gap between the 50 y/o being in a teen body having a relationship with same age teen is a problem, would people prefer the 50 y/o teen date a 50 year old? LOL this is just a question in my mind now because if the gangster is stuck in this body and has to live as such for the rest of his life but we have this moral/ethics dilemma because of his mental age, are we okay with his teen body dating an older person? genuinely just curious 🤔
Hi, would you mind spoiling the story for me. I want to watch both seasons but I don't get what the plot is. Is…
Hyun Soo is a human that somehow was able to resist fully turning into a monster. So, he has monster abilities but human control so he's not killing people like the other monsters. Yes, they call it a sickness that stems from human desires. The ending of season 1 concludes with the military trying to capture Hyun Soo to study him but he is taken away by another human that is the same as Hyun Soo (so monster but he is able to control it).
The whole first season is about learning and survival. So, you can think of it like any other zombie show where the first outbreak happens and you follow of group of people that are trying to survive. In this show though, you don't get bitten to turn into a monster. It's almost random when someone turns into a monster but they show symptoms before completely turning. Hope that helps!
Rewatching to see if I missed anything and LOL it's kind of sad but I felt most bad for the mom and child monster at the beginning. The mom monster didn't even seem like it was trying to hurt anyone, just protect its baby. I'm glad the baby people Yi Kyung's child's friend and that Hyun Sii rescued it. I hope it survived. It literally just runs around lolol I actually get pretty sad when they kill all monsters even the ones that didn't hurt And actually protected humans like the green slime one in season 1.
I really hope Ji-Su returns in season 3 as a controlled monster too. they definitely left her ending open. all we know is that Eun Yu probably saw a huge Boulder on her and assumed she died. But it looked like she was showing symptoms leading up to that moment. I need her back and excited to have Eun Hyeok back for Season 3 too. I also need a controlled Yi Kyung. her daughter turning her into a monster was a surprise but I'll take it LOL I was totally ready to cry for her death.
I think their kiss scene probably is in my Top 3 kiss scenes. it was super sweet and very well done. I loved that she initiated it. and the small pecks she left after were adorable. it really showcased how their feelings bloomed even after 15 years. it shows their affections so well and the sweet warming hug after their kiss was great.
Season 2 was definitely slower than Season 1. It felt a little all over the place to me but maybe that's because Season 1 was just so confined. However, I think what Season 2 did well was set up expectations high for Season 3.
We know now that Lee Do Hyun (Lee Eun Hyuk) is alive and back. Yi Kyung is now a monster. So, really, from the original squad, only the 2 back at the stadium and Eun Yu are alive and human.
I really want to know the extent of Yi Kyung's daughters powers. Also, thought it was really nice that Hyun Su pretty much raised her. I wish we saw a bit more of that cause they're obviously closer than her and her mom. And oops, she took his words and made her mom a monster. Though, I want Yi Kyung to understand that her daughter being a monster isn't even a horrible thing. I was really disappointed that she locked her away instead of teaching her that her powers aren't bad but they shouldn't be used. Her daughter clearly could control her powers since she didn't turn her mom every time she touched her. it really seemed that it activated when she wanted it to or when she felt like she was in danger/surprised.
Overall, I enjoyed season 2, a little less than season 1, but am suuuuper excited for season 3 LMAO
Idc what anyone says, Liu Yu Ning is friggin hot. He exudes charisma and I can listen and stare at him for eternity.༼…
honestly, I think he's a good looking man. I don't understand the criticism on his looks. I feel like sometimes people are getting TOO used to the pretty boy looks that anyone who doesn't fit that convention is now suddenly ugly. I like his masculine look and he's so frigging tall omg.... that scene with the table where they were getting the rat water. his height was even more accentuated LOL
Kyahhhhhhhhh this couple's relationship is so smooth!! I love that they resolve any misunderstandings quickly and even talk about things like when to have a baby HAHAHAHA he's also so understanding of her and I love that they're both happy and putting their love/feelings for each other ahead instead of the no, we can't be together, pushes each other away cliche. AND lmaoooo, Ru Yi is a tease. she's so cute!! probably not the right word but first time seeing Liu Shi Shi and she's definitely now on my list of actresses to follow!!
the bed scene in ep12 is hilarious in how Luan Yu was trying to cover for them HAHAHA
and im glad Ning stood up for her the entire time and convinced his team they were in the wrong and they indeed were. she never caused them problems and protected them but they teamed up 3-1 against her. so sad but glad it's been resolved love the team!!
wondering how things will be once they arrive to get the emperor, since the people that actually know Ruyi are there.
wonder what her relationship is like with Li Tongguang since she trained him and was there along with the Scarlet Guard maid girl. I'm so interested in seeing the 2 sides go against each other but at this time I feel like we don't know many people on the Scarlet Guard team and their motives and feelings. it seems they're treated poorly by the An Emperor too... so I'm looking forward to seeing how things unfold.
Lmao from SOKP to AJTL, I love these new strong, smart pairings and how they already like each other but won't admit it. love that everyone in this show pretty much holds their own in the fighting aspects and isn't just smart. been pretty great so far, can't wait for 9 & 10
lastly, her wanting a baby is hilarious and seeing her fall for him is also cute. he protects her and makes sure she's respected.
I really hate people. First the couple that passed judgment on SMH and now the neighbors passing judgement on the family. what is wrong with you people? yes, they committed identity theft, but literally that's it. They were never mean to their neighbors and even that Detective that looked up the fingerprint said that Bo Geol had a clean record meaning under the new name, he had not done any wrong. For people to somehow paint the victims in a damning light is so strange to me when even the news reported that the wife ran away due to domestic abuse. People are so strange, it's like they want to find fault in everyone else so that they can pretend they're better.
And damn, I wish I had someone who loved me so much and just gets me a place to live. Knowing Bo Geol, he probably kept his habit of saving money, so not surprised he's able to do that for her.
He's honestly such a green light, might be my new favorite. He's sweet, understanding, and isn't afraid to make hard decisions. Yet, he does show his own emotions once he's overwhelmed. But, overall, he's just so incredibly supportive of Mok Ha. Back on the island and now. He's always been a pillar of support for her and wants the best for her.
I do feel bad for Woo Hak. Sorry man. You were just 15 years too late. The love birds met so long ago, but I hope he has his own happy ending.
The brothers quitting was such a sad moment whether it was Woo Hak's superior not even wanting to accept the resignation or Bo Geol'd coworkers being sad. You can tell they have lived honest lives. Their neighbors be damned.... jk. a bit harsh but you get it.
Lastly, ooooooooh Dae Woong woke up!! Get that victim testimony. He's gonna have a LOT to catch up on since he fell in a coma when Ki Ho wasn't even found yet and now he's been found AND the whole world knows about the ID theft.
oh wait, one last thing. you suck President Lee. i feel like he's so fake. one moment he's caring but the second he needs to make a business decision to benefit himself no one else matters. not even the woman who helped him start his business and someone's he's had a personal relationship with.
