Title Cheer Up!
If you're looking for a really good love triangle this is it, I was surprised that ML and SML get almost the same amount of screen time and, IMO, FL was actually better matched with the SML, that's how well they made that triangle.
This was a lovely watch I binged but they should've switched out the sister because this was at least a 5y span in the drama and she was the same size and was even playing with Barbies and stuff when she should've been a highschooler with way different interestes. Kaituo was an extremely annoying character and the fashion and architecture professors relationship was also annoying with nothing to show for it. I missed kissing, FL was such a scaredy cat and they kept interrupting kissing scenes. Actually, when I think about it the lead characters weren't in an actual relationship for almost any of the show, that part was underwhelming but I still kept binging because I wanted to see what happens next.
On Love Story in the 1970s 19 days ago
There was a lot happening but at the same time it was kind of a bit slow. I was still glad to see what was life like in China in the 70's and was especially surprised that they watched movies from my region (Walter defends Sarajevo) and via that I learned that they even had beer called Walter so I was glad to watch it. Also, the ending made me cry happy tears so I guess it was good enough. And I'm curious if the Chinese guys really did their cooking, cleaning and sewing for real back then?
On Goddess Bless You from Death Feb 28, 2026
Like are you freaking kidding me with that score, don't know if you people voted for it because of the ship or what but those last 3 episodes made the whole drama tank, what do you mean one ill, both physically and mentally, guy took down a whole squad of people, some whom were in a special police unit, the excuses for why some people were left alone for them to be his victim were so weak and everything got annoying.
On Love between Lines Feb 26, 2026
I really liked that they were showing affection like a normal couple, when they kissed it felt right, I would be kissing in those scenarios IRL, usually dramas avoid too much PDA so there's always something missing when they have minimal touchy feely-nes. It would've been a higher rating if some of the scenes weren't a bit cliche-ish.
On The Best Thing Feb 21, 2026
This was a very sweet, sensible drama with no hard feelings, I've grown to like these types of dramas because where there's too much drama it's not done naturally, usually there's an insane plot twist that doesn't make sense and makes the couple not be together.

And now I've got a confession to make, I know Zhang Ling He is the #1 guy in the drama world and he has a lot of fans but the previous dramas I've seen with him never raised my curiosity about him, if I came across his drama I wouldn't think twice about him, he looked like a regular stony faced actor that are a dime a dozen and he didn't stand out to me in any way, until I saw him here. His facial expressions, the way he was smiling, his playfulness, he was so natural here and his face wasn't neutral in the slightest, I could feel the warmth he was radiating and I loved him in this role, he was also paired nicely with the actress, they fit each other really well. Someone might shoot me for this but him being like he was in this role, reminded me of John Patrick Amedori and I still won't be looking for his dramas specifically but if I come across his drama I won't be so dismissive of him and I'll dedicate myself to truly pay attention to him.

Title Shine on Me
I gave it a 9.5 rating only because I was annoyed that Zhuang Xu never moved on with someone else, everything else I loved, it took the main couple a while to be together but usually when the drama is made that way the couple tends to stay together and not be prone to miscommunication and stupid misunderstandings over nothing. I loved the pace of the whole drama and the way they were there for each other, their chosen fields of work were also interesting to me, the lack of drama coming from most of the family and when they had some drama they didn't make it repetitive and it was never the main focus, like I said I loved it all.

Person Hwang Ha Na
is this the "actress" that got involved in a drug case? She landed two support roles back in 2009, people should be leaving out that title if the "actors" didn't contribute greatly to the industry and/or they've stopped acting altogether.
On Hidden Agenda Dec 27, 2025
I would've given this a higher rating even though nothing was basically happening but in those last couple of episodes I realized that Zo doesn't care about Joke in the slightest and the rating went downhill.

My last comment got into a praising rant for this series but I actually had a question:In the end credits there…
I saw this too, I feel like they filmed it just for the credits because it has a music video feel to it, but I could be wrong.

This was really good, I've only ever read stories like this I don't think I've yet found a drama with this kind of theme. A breath of fresh air.

First part I thought was lovely, despite many cinematographic flaws. The rest I thought was a waste of time and…
same here, I liked it best when they first met and they were fun in the beginning, the rest and those other realms were basically a repeat of the first part but with less fun.
On When Destiny Brings the Demon Oct 5, 2025
There were plenty of kisses which I liked and there were some scenes that I really liked, but same story basically got told 3 times in 3 different realms, and I hate recurring enemies as well. And I know it's currently a trend in China but I can't handle anymore time travel stories which are not really time traveling but regular wuxia's or xianxia's with modern vocabulary and/or inventions by the one "time traveling" so I'll lay of from the newer dramas of this genres.

Title Snowfall
This was stupid and annoying. it feels like everything was left unsaid and I was getting tired of those repeat enemies. You thought someone was dead and they kept coming back, even the humans. The romance part shouldn't have even been included if they're almost behaving like father and daughter. By trying not to be icky with their physical relationship they made it icky with him being like a teacher and father figure. I guess they were trying to avoid the "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" fiasco where people were upset about the age difference (as if those kind of relationships don't exist IRL). And then the ending was horrible as well.

Title Love Scout
Very fluffy and no real depth, also tired of the plot where leads share a deep (often childhood) connection that could make or break them and by the end of the drama almost everyone turns nice, sometimes even those without redeeming qualities. Also was expecting a more mature content in terms of their behavior since they're mid 30's or so. FL is a great actress, conveys emotions really well, ML is so so in my opinion.
On Wrong Carriage, Right Groom Sep 15, 2025
I feel like pacing was very off, the focus would be on one couple and then as if they forgot about the other couple they would switch their focus and then it's as if they were so into the couple they're currently showing that you almost forget it's supposed to be 2 main couples and it takes them a while to remember the other coulle, the switch would always come out of nowhere. Also I can't stand out of character stuff, like make a parody if you don't want to put in the effort. General's wife was often disguised as a man but she has fake nails and it's very distracting for a "man" to have those, especially in that time period, and they would show her hands multiple times, sometimes she would even wear lip gloss.
On Cupid's Kitchen Sep 14, 2025
Looks like plenty of people didn't like this one. There were so many plot holes and most of the side characters were annoying, I only liked some of the elders. I skipped through basically everything but the main story and at times it was questionable as well. The title Cupid's kitchen is wrong and from ML's side of things there was zero attraction towards FL, they were basically like brother and sister or something. I also mostly didn't like the ML's acting. And why did it suddenly become like a musical at the very end, the whole drama was a bit like telenovela. I think the best thing out of all this were those food close-ups.
On They Kiss Again Sep 1, 2025
This season was better than the first but not by much. I really liked that ML was much more affectionate towards FL, for a short while in the beginning and towards the end, in S1 you almost couldn't tell if he's even into her. I was also glad that they were married early on, usually marriage is saved for the end like a "cherry on top" type of thing, or do the producers think that we don't want to watch married couples. Anyways, this way it seemed more permanent even though there were hiccups. This season had much more side character stories and it didn't seem like the main couple was the focus but that was also ok.
On It Started with a Kiss Aug 27, 2025
This was sooooo bad, there was so much going on and nothing was going on at the same time. Regarding the FL I know she's the way she is because of comedy but I just refuse to believe there's someone so incompetent and clumsy all the time. ML is depicted much more realistically. I also hated the fact that there were very few sweet moments between ML and FL, at least until the last two episodes. Romance was really dragging, there were plenty of annoying characters and I was hoping that the 2nd half of the season will be better, but it was just absurd and chaotic all the time, I honestly don't even know why I stuck around till the end.
