their hug in ep 9 was sooooo precious to me. i love the way march's acting choices in that scene where he was smiling while opening his arms to comfort junji but once they're hugging he starts shedding his tears because it hurts to see your partner going through tough times indeed. hill is so beloved to me.
This show is sooooooo underrated. It has really nice cinematography, color grading, clean audio mixing, way more budgeted than your average lakorn... the romcom plot may be simple or predictable for many but i feel like it's serving exactly what it presented itself to be: a classic feel-good office romcom bl. March is so good in this and I find Hill so endearing, i'm rooting for him the most π₯Ή
No updates on the leads yet. It was just an industry event for GDH and their working industry colleagues to officially introduce what they are working on. There might be a GDH lineup event where they have all the leading actors of a project come because so far most of their working titles have only one/two actors announced.
Tbh i saw so many positive review of Top Form similar to this drama but i am still stuck in ep 10 of Top Form,…
Reset is also set in the entertainment industry but it's very different from Top Form. I don't think you should rush yourself into watching just because of the praises but whenever you're in the mood for a compelling romance of two characters who are just trying to live their best life while a bunch of obstacles are thrown in their way, I hope you keep Reset in mind for consideration.
here's a one line pitch for reset: Fan boy takes epic measures to get his Y/N moment and it works. π
Damn so much positive review. Is this drama really that good? Or just because of chemistry?
it's a 7.0 soap opera cheesy cliche plot but coupled with strong theatric performances of the two leading actors which makes the romance feels compelling. if you can endure your standard telenovela tropes you might enjoy this π for many people here, it's the strong acting performances and the writing for of the romance between the two main characters that's the selling point of a very predictable story βΊοΈ
I feel like the odd one out... Everyone is talking about how amazing this series is, but I just finished episode…
EP 6 gets infinitely better though if you can hold out for another ep. You can probably call it the episode where Armin stops crashing out and maybe that's much less frustrating π But I totally get if you want to drop or put this on hold and come back to it at another time π₯²
Reset, the highest-rated BLs on MDL are tied with Jack and Joker, with Revenged Love just behind at 8.7.Considering…
It sucks that Revenged Love got downrated all of a sudden just as the series got more popular in China and antis start digging out information about past relationships of the actors. such non issues that they make a big deal out of for no reason. RL and Reset have been making my Mondays so much better like they're definitely my top fave series this year
Does anyone know how old Thada and Armin are when Armin returns to the past? I always, for some unknown reason,…
Armin is younger. He's teasing Thada later about having an older boyfriend is because he's been resetted so technically at the time of returning to the past he's mentally older than Thada. So in his mind, Armin always considers Thada to be younger than mind even though physically Thada is older than Armin. Apparently according to the author, in the novel they are 24 (Armin) and 32 (Thada) physically speaking. so i guess you can add 25 years to that and it's their age in 2025 π https://x.com/crystaljadeed/status/1935142050141462735?s=46
In the novel yes he died of heartbroken. He reset too but he did not remember anything but dreams about armin…
Not to mention that that interpretation also fits with book canon that Thada doesn't reset but at the same time justify the scenes we see of Thada having dreams of his past life or scenes of past life Thada wishing he and Armin could have another chance and promising to protect Armin always. For Thada having dreams, I think he might have interpreted as future premonitions meanwhile it's actually a past life for him and it seems detailed to us as audience but he might not have remembered things clearly because does one really remember things from their dreams in full details π€
In the novel yes he died of heartbroken. He reset too but he did not remember anything but dreams about armin…
I don't think Thada reset. But it's more like his grief and dying wish powered Armin's reset and give that altered timeline version of Thada glimpses of the life where Thada lost Armin -> creating an innate desire for Thada to come out of the shadows and protect Armin. You can interpret it in a lot of ways but for me it seems more logical to read it that Thada that we see most in the show does not reset because he has little awareness of the future technology or things that Armin refers to.
10/10 for tying up all loose plot threads, delivering key theme messages about cherishing the moments we have with our loved ones, excellent ending that shows all characters' fate. reset is truly a perfect series for beginner lakorn watchers because you get excellent telenovela, dramatic, soap opera tropes but also strong and compelling acting performances. would reset myself to watch this story all over again. 100/100 watching experience.
Reset isn't like a groundbreaking masterpiece in anyways, but it's a cheesy cliche feel good romance soap opera where one can feel the fantasy-like romance and sizzling chemistry between two leading actors that give very strong and theatric acting performances. Plot wise Reset is so simple, it could just be a 7 or 7.5, but the love story of the two main characters is so good it's a 10/10 for many people (myself included), hence such high rating at the moment.
damn its like i already know things that are gonna happen but i still tune in for this series weekly like thats crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. the acting are so good. theres a good balance between bad/good people winning. i love claudia so much like she's serving face every time i see her.
Pond and Pan were soooooooooo good in the scene on the bed where they're watching Armin's lakorn. the vulnerability of Thada was portrayed soooo well when he started regain flashbacks of his past life and Armin was sooooo sweet and comforting with him ahhhhhhhhhhh
