if you ask about gmmtv bl series, they have terribly low ratings so gmmtv stopped publishing them since middle of last year. their bl series mostly averaged from 0.1-0.5

tbh spare me your mercy is already doing so much than the novels in terms of representing euthanasia, the state of public healthcare in thailand, especially in rural areas. the novels were genuinely a bit shallow in this aspect. i really think the typical "bl/ql" audience just had too much expectations in a well developed romance which the runtime of this series cannot afford. i saw ppl calling torjj chemistry bad when they're literally saving this series with just GAZES and CUDDLES.

I think Netflix subtitles for Thai series kinda sucks sometimes. Thai uses เขา (Kao) which is a gender neutral third-person pronoun (he/she/him/her).

THEY KNEW PHATCHAI'S DEATH WOULD HURT US ALL SO BAD. AND THEY DID IT ANYWAY. WE DON'T EVEN GET TO KNOW THE FATE OF THICHA AND HER CHILD.
