Does this get interesting and something that will get you hooked right from episode 1? Or does this take a while…
I dk bcoz I enjoyed the ML in Snow Stride so I feel excited while watching even in Ep 1... Its not like other historical drama that you need to warm up for a long time before you got hooked. I remember Im in ep 16 and I felt like I been watching for a long time because every ep is full of story, no fillers and no need to skip some seconds and the actors are really great. Im now in ep 44 and I dont want it to end yet... So fun and intriguing.
idk these two have really great chemistry. i love them. i m watching this just t see them interact and im not match invested in the plot but who knows maybe i will like it in the end....

i wont call this same as mouse but somehow it has the same vibe for me.. the thrill, excitement of finding who is BM is what I felt when i watched M. and cant help to think that after the suspense of 16 ep it will be PCH in the end. (this is no means to discredit the writer) I will look forward on how the story unfold and justified every actions and reactions of each characters.
After 4 days. DONE!!! I like it. after ep 20 Ive got use to all the characters and not bored anymore... Nice Palace intrigue and Minglan's Journey is so endearing... Great acting. I cried some tears. But thankfully they are not making this kind of drama anymore.. so long. i lost some sleeps. hahaha.. We'll see if I can bear to watch Story of Yanxi.
this is my first PEB drama, tho Im not a fan, I always remembered her because my high school self shipped YSH x PEB so hard. I still have their wedding picture (faded) in my old album. Gosh cant believe its been 10 yrs. they are (including myself) are so babies back then lol.
now im really interested. i wont argue with ADOS story coz everyone have different taste, but ADOS cinematography is really one of bests for me. is it the same here?
thanks. im the type who really really really binge watch. lol ( i can finish 16ep kdrama in 1 and a half day and finished LLTG 1 in two seating) . so im scared to start this one.. bye bye sleep. but i guess it will be worth since its HE.

hmm.. ADOS is one of my fave cdramas of all time now. I guess I was sold with the whole package, cinematography, acting, music, well-flesh out characters and story. If you think the last 20 eps is ff-ed, its alright. its your experience you can like what you want.
LLTG will surely be one of ancient drama I will remember and recommend to someone now, but maybe because it starting to be specially to me I am now wanting it to be better. I cant imagine how great it would if the camera works is better and the music is more remarkable. but it just my take. Lets enjoy watching season 2 :)).

I truly enjoyed ADOS, saw some comments with the same sentiments but maybe because I was watching real time. so I did not feel bored and always looking forward for the next episode. The misunderstanding is essential for me to balance the story and the 3rd FL irritating characters is understandable (tho not justifiable) her insecurities and a sudden fame made her proud and Im just so glad that she find he own way. :) If you dont like it maybe its just not for you.
This was not on my watchlist. Ive seen them both in the Long Ballad. Ive also watch a couple of ZLS drama, WRtW was the latest, but I am not really a fan of these two. I have no bad comment on their acting but they are just not appealing to me as an actors. But surprisingly, I love them here. I am really glad that I gave this one a chance. It deserves its high rating. I love the story actually. The first 5 episodes, I honestly cry a lot. Even tho the scene is not that sad but the whole premised of abandoned child and unfavored child is one of my fave trope. And they presented it well here, the drama is not too draggy and the dialogues are not cringy. I am rooting for the FL and ML I just dont like the cinematography or maybe I have now a standard after watching A Dream of Splendor.
