director-nim and screenwriter-nim, daebak! you keep me on my toes. you really have my respect. Its so rare for me to watch and not complain on the scenes/dialogues - even taking that route for YJ and YR. Im good, I cried but Im still believing on the journey - like Im a supportive watcher who cry and laugh and cheer and shout and run and cry again for the whole gang. At this point, all Im asking is a justifiable ending, whatever it is...
but damn... im still holding my hope for NHD and BYJ be the endgame!
i remember, i happened to be in k-drama drought in 2020.. so why not try c-drama. i just have to overcome the hurdle of hearing actors speaking chinese (bcoz im used to hearing korean). My friend recommended Love020 and TMoPB and i love them. Afterwards I look for what's hot in MDL. and came across with this endearing story. Although I still dont like how they frame some scene (camera angle) I really stayed with the story and characters journey.
some may say that the series is overrated, some may have dropped this just after watching 1 or 2 ep bcoz they cant connect. I remember watching the first few ep and getting bored (bcos I have no clue with the story, I dont know the actors, etc) but after 5 or so ep, it started to get interesting and I was hooked. Best decision to stay. Kudos to great casting. great song. before I knew it I placed this as one of my all time fave.
fast forward, Ive already watch this twice, special edition once, read the novel once and reread some memorable chapters. finish the Donghua last month and I still cant get enough. Ive got lost in MDZs Wonderland.
for those who are curious you can give it a shot, try to hang for a couple of episodes and maybe, just maybe you will find it enjoyable, if not dont sweat it. maybe it just really not your cup of latte, and there's nothing wrong with it :)

the whole gang is so adorable... i love that they let other characters shine even a lil bit. That DJ and fan scene is so cool and funny. hahaha. I love Seung wan. I cant wait to find what happened to Ji Wong on the present time. He's just a laid back guy who dnt have ambition, for some it maybe a bad thing but for a teen still finding his place in society I hope he will find his way.
The bridge scene.. wow. im amazed with camera angle and cinematic color and the simplicity of the whole act. Sweet smile, sincere eyes. I repeated those scene 3x.
I agree with TKEM, I stayed bcoz I wanna know how they gonna wrap it. The complexity of the story is new and really promising but the script kinda lost in its own maze.

NHD explanation that the fencer knows who is faster is on point but i think that's what KYR believed too, surrounded by adrenaline, and diff emotions on that few sec, i think she believed that she was faster and not lying... And thats the reason there's Ref. As the mess happened Im wondering where is the Ref, why they are not asking him instead of blaming the athlete... thank God they did tho at the end. I wonder what's the purpose of the writer for making KYR act this way. I am hoping for the best of everyone. That scene in resto with grandpas really hit hard.

I adore her characters so much. I know somehow in the past there are some women who advocate gender-equality. Thanks to them women, are being recognized and appreciated aside being a "woman". It still a long way to go for women today... but we are changing now and I am so happy to live in this time where my talent are not hindered by customs and gender.
