First time watching and damn, with the amount of wet tissue on my desk... I don't like watching really serious dramas that requires too much emotional attachment but this drama stole my heart ripped it out of my chest threw it on the ground and stumped on it. But despite the pain, I genuinely loved the rawness and storyline of the drama. 10/10! ❤️❤️❤️

Yeah, they are really great actors. I haven't entirely finished the book yet and you know that feeling that even though you're not yet finished its still soooo good. That's what I got when I read FIYS and YAMG and most of the dramas from novels that I have seen were really good so I know this one will be just as good.

I can't say Im not gonna be disappointed but whether there is a kissing scene or not, it won't affect my rating. Hopefully people won't be too harsh... As someone who has seen some of his dramas, I'm not surprised but there is still part of me hoping that there might be some.

as an asian, (personally) the mom was quite a realistic character. I have seen so many moms like that in real life.

Fell in love at first sight with him on You Are My Glory, I know he has really short scenes in in the drama and is basically just a passerby character, I was immediately hooked! Hope to see more of him, hopefully as a main lead

You said its your first Chinese drama so you might find it a bit weird or a bit off at the beginning, I was the same when I first watched anything Chinese but when you get the hang of it, its gonna get better :)
The first time I watched anything Chinese (that is not from my dad's watch list) it was an e-sport movie called "One Smile Is very alluring" and right then I made a decision to watch a bit more CDramas, so I recommend you can try that as well or its drama version which is Love O2O, its an older drama but its a classic when it comes to Chinese E-Sport Dramas.
