This drama definitely would’ve benefited from being longer than 38 episodes, even if watching 7 lifetimes might get boring, at least if the characters and their relationships were fleshed out and the writing was consistent, I could watch this for 70+ episodes

Mind you said fiancé is sleeping with his brother and he is already in the process of trying to break off the engagement. This is worded like he’s leading both women on when he has been nothing but be honest to xiaoyao. He is working behind the scenes to set his affairs in order.
I’ve been watching since it aired and been following the comments and I have to say, this was slow burn done right! I’ve been hooked since episode 1…episode 20 pissed me off for reasons, but they got me back. They payoff was very much worth it. Looking forward to episode 25 ❤️
I don't usually comment on many shows I watch, but with this webdrama, I need to get this off my chest....I HATE that you can tell that if this drama had proper funding and budget, this could have truly excelled as a top drama, not limiting itself to "BL" if that makes sense. Like you can truly see the vision, and I'm sure if they had more time and money to polish it, it could've been a great piece of art.....almost wish they started a gofund me while they were shooting, so i could've donated lol...
That being said, I like the drama. Of all the kbls released so far, this feels the most complete to me because they actually invested in bringing side characters to life.... all the characters, even the annoying ones, exist as their own and not just as a plot device to bring the leads together. The fact that I love most of the female characters in this >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I won't be too upset about the editing because it is a passion project and in scenes that really matter, the actors do bring it to life, and the cinematography is great.
The rewatch value for this drama is actually insane....while it was airing, I would go back to rewatch from the beginning and now that its completed, I just go back and watch all my favorite scenes and moments...not a lot of dramas have that ability. It's my new comfort drama

LMAOOOO I completely agree. Since Ive dropped it, even im starting to believe he's the evil 2nd lead bc he's been described as a jerk, manipulative, conniving, and an opportunist....
I feel kind of protective over dosan because of the hate he's getting.
As a NJH stan im really getting war flashbacks to School 2015, where it was the exact same situation and the second lead had the "better" storyline. I put the show on hold because I was waiting for the lies to be revealed but every week, Do San's character gets hated and Im really to the point that I just want Dal Mi and Ji Pyung to get together so Nam Joo Hyuk can get spared the hate he got like 5 years ago.......
I dont consider Do San an opportunist, but I can only blame the writer for making Do San and Dal Mi get together before everything was revealed.......but ppl forget that Do San is also a victim...they used his name without his consent and he was dragged into everything when he was quite literally minding his business....shippers really make drama watching unbearable and this is why I will always hate love triangles
I have to say it, in all of my years of watching kdramas, in fact any show whatsoever, the finale of this drama has been hands down the best final episode ever written. I cried all the way through and enjoyed their journey. Now I want my own matching dinosaur shirt because I feel like I've found a family in them.
The only flaw of the story for me was how the mom storyline was handled, BUT that being said, everything else surrounding the drama as been so good that I would still give this a solid 9/10
The writer/ director is so disrespectful for ending episode 15 like that LMAOOOO she wanted to make sure we tuned in for episode 16 because that was spicy
