the issue now is getting HT's parents approval by him getting into one of the top 5 national colleges, thats really all thats left to tell. They might even show a little of their college life, but I dont think we need something major to happen cause thats how good stories end up with sucky endings. One of the things I love the most about this show is the parallel between Hao Tings parents and his relationship with Shi Gu. Like both him and his dad are hot tempered and are constantly at each other’s throats, but just like how his dad listens to and is soft/ lovey with his mom, Hao Ting is like that with Shi Gu and it’s so pure

This week's highlight was definitely the bridge scene with SB and CG. They won me over and I shed a tear at the proposal. XG and HT can have all my bags of uwus because they're so cute and I love how real it is, like of course more episodes would let them explore more, but their relationships, their conflicts, the focus on school, its like im suddenly back in my senior year. This was by far my favorite episode. It was funny and cute and honestly, from episode 4 til now, everything has been better overall that the growth from the first 3 episodes has been so amazing. I love MODC and I'm so glad I never doubted it.

I think it was the scene in HT's room as well, like there were hints that Xi Gu was already curious about Hao Ting, but after Hao Ting took the blame for the picture, I think thats when Xi Gu's feelings towards him changed to more romantic ones. Especially when HT said he would give XG his everything.

I am not ashamed to say I’ve rewatched HT and YSG’s make out scene an unhealthy amount of times and I am on my way to watch it again. I need this scene done again without any interruptions in the future. That is all. Thank you.

I understand what you mean but the fault lies more with the writers and how they fleshed out their story than with the actors themselves. Also the age gap makes some of people uncomfortable, me being on of them....I wouldve preferred if they'd had sex after Sun graduated high school, but by making him the "aggressive" one, the writers found a loophole lol

Skipping scenes doesnt mean you dont appreciate the actors. I skipped a LOT of scenes while watching Addicted cause the "assault" scenes werent for me but I still liked the story and actors as a whole. Ive watched numerous kdramas with ppl being vocal about skipping scenes, but it is what it is if people have their personal preference. As long as they're not bashing the actors, there's no issue.

they probably will the last 2/10 (4/20) episodes but based on the 5 min trailer, there are still some high school scenes of HT and SG that we havent seen

Just wanna say Wayne (Haoting) and Juan Zi (Shi Gu) are very attractive actors. Like the drama's wardrobe doesn't do them justice cause I mean they're highschoolers and there's only so many ways you can style them. But I've been watching their interviews and BTS clips and you can clearly see they're both attractive men so idk where this idea that they're ugly came from lol

side note, even if its not realistic, I am so thankful to MODC writers for allowing Haoting to be honest with Shi Gu about his feelings without the added angst of questioning his sexuality. Haoting just accepted that he liked Shi Gu and decided to pursue him like he would any other romantic interest and for that im grateful. We have enough angst filled stories, sometimes a regular rom com is necessary, as unrealistic as it is.

Yes you can be entitled to your opinion but objectively if you’re comparing production, directing, acting, etc. this is far from the worst and that’s why I said what I said. I’ve had stories I liked from each season, and while I currently like MODC the most, I can agree that Trapped had a better script, but overall season 3 of HIStory, in terms of how they are handling same sex relationships, as a queer person, it’s far better than HIStory1 and that’s not really a debate lol

This is the one drama I would say would benefit from having only one couple....like I genuinely only like Yu Shi Gu and Hao Ting and I really felt it this episode (9/10) cause I only wanted more scenes of them even tho we did get a lot lol. I like the corniness and cringe. I like the innocence of it and how there aren't really any villains for drama's sake. And the fact that Hao Ting broke up with his girlfriend early on and they didnt make her into a vindictive person, wow we love that cause so many dramas like to make women in BLs the villains for no reason.. I agree with everyone that the writing could be better, but tbh compared to earlier HIStory series and some thai BLs, shoot even some kdramas, its pretty good. Like its fast, but not fast enough in that Hao Ting is still trying to win Shi Gu over and is just being his friend with some intimate moments here and there. Maybe like 2 more episodes wouldve done better to flesh out the plot, but as of now, I like it. Its my crack.
