I can watch a drama with this man watching paint dry and be completely enthralled, invigorated and excited. He is FINE FOINE FINE!!!!!!!!!! Main character. Main light fixture. Main star in the galaxy. Whatever. He’s all that. Most gorgeous mouth you ever did see and them passionate flirtatious only you exist in my world eyes. Sir. Some of us are trying to live in reality sanely knowing you exist. Geesh. Let us breath.
I'm a sucker for cliche, sweet and unrealistic because at the end of the day RomCom is supposed to be light unrealistic escapism. So I love this drama. I'm not a super picky person. It's cute. I love how the characters grow and the chemistry between the main couple is palpable. I love their interactions. Like give me more..... This male lead has won me over. I love his face and his features. And that lil sly boyish grin of his is sending me... But the real reason I decided to do this post is can talk about the guy playing his secretary. I don't know what it is with me and CEO assistants, side kicks, child hood friends or whatever but I always fall for the support guys. He is adorable like for real. His curly hair got me in a spin cycle. Like can we have more of him please... Lol.
I like this but then again I'm easy to please. I have my favs whom I love but if it's someone not my cup of tea I'll move on. I don't bad mouth any one but I like who I like. And unless the storyline of the drama is just over the top with the drama and angst or it's just really bad bad storyline like in If Paris Downcast or whatever that foolery was with the oh so fine Zhang Han, I'm simple. Give me cheesy love. Give me the cold CEO, Prince or whoever that becomes complete mush revealing his inner self when he falls in love. Give me the ridiculous I'll challenge the world for our love kind of drama. Realistic has it place. I live in real life. Give me fantasy on my TV screen. Give me the improbable and let me live in peace.

I come back to this drama for one reason Li Hong Yi. I’ve seen it multiple times. Got lost along the way but the visuals of Li Hong Yi with that hair flowing in historical garments is a gift. I come back frequently to see him. That’s all. There’s a white hair siting in this too. I love white hair characters.
Reading the synopsis it kind of reminds me about Korean drama strong woman do bong soon
Was about to say the same thing but it cannot match the perfection of Strong Woman and the chemistry of the leads. Plus this has other things going on. It’s cute butttttt 😂😂
As a writer I fully understood the arc involving XW and her first love and the memories XW started to experience of her first love. I could be wrong but XW was created by her so it’s highly possible all the qualities she loved about her first love was poured into the creation of XW. His rejection of her and his death left her in conflict and with trauma of how he died. Because he died trying to save her dad. She lost them both.
This is a fantasy drama so I believe he not only came as an answer to her wish for an unforgettable love but also to heal her hurt ie his second mission. XW in my opinion is in every sense of the word her first love written into a fantasy character come to life so it makes sense that he would experience his memories if they are one and the same person essentially. Plus it’s obvious that her first love liked her too which follows the whole villain behavior.
But that’s just me. I’m just saying I get it in thinking about it that way. But I’m always thinking as a writer and psychoanalyst.
Listen here you know it’s love when you wearing another face but he remembers your demeanor, your character and your heart. My guy said the face was a blur but I remember everything else and I know!!!!!!!!!!! That’s love.

I felt that too when I first saw him. He was in something called Queen of Attack another short and I fell instantly. I kept feeling like I saw him before but I hadn’t. He jus has that kind of face and demeanor on to the screen that pulls you in. All the way in. I just went to watch My Husky Boyfriend because I’m intrigued. Now I’m watching this and Contractual Love because I want to see more of him.
