Exactly!!! Like stay in the car. In other news I was saddened by something I noticed. It seems they are low key creating feelings of jealousy between Mei Xing towards ZCS because of Shi Yi. And according to another post I saw Mei Xing is supposedly the reincarnation of the Prince who fell in love with Shi Yi's portrait and become obsessed with her. I believe his name was Lu Zi Xing. I just hope Mei Xing doesn't turn bad or turn against ZCS if that's true.

Supposedly all the characters are reincarnations, like the younger brother is a reincarnation of the emperor who loved his cousin ZCS. If anyone was the reincarnation of the Prince obsessed with Shi Yi I figured it would be the Wang dude who's always glaring at ZCS when he comes around. She did have quite a few admirers though in the historical drama.

Oh my.. Mr. Obsession who fell in love with a picture. Ahh now that I think about it. Going back to when he first saw her he was holding a camera. Hmmm. The subtlety. Makes sense. But I love Mei Xing.

I know there are so many carrying on about the lack of romance or initiation from the ML, but I don't mind it. I think it's cute and wholesome and true to the continuation of his character from his former life. He had no clue then. He however was always about the details and showing his love in paying attention to the details. Anyway I'm not really here to write a dissertation about that because my thoughts are lengthy as I see this from a whole different perspective.

What I am here to talk about is Hood Rule #1
If you see people with bats in the street walking towards your car, you don't slow down, stop the car and get out the car because they command you to. You accelerate and run them jokers over if they don't get out of the way. Period!

With that said, I need to see the manager. Mei Xing's beautiful face and body paid the price for that boy's foolishness in slowing down, stopping and getting out the car. Mei Xing is a thug. We all knew his drunk self was gonna jump his beautiful self out that car to try and fight even in his condition because he is about that life. He clearly stated that when he was talking to that crazy second son. Anyway our Mei Xing did not have to suffer if the driver would have sped up. I mean - common sense. I ain't stopping or getting out. Why?

Okay. Rant over.

Agreed. I think people forget the make up of his character. In the past he was a war prodigy. To escape the family mess and suspicion of wanting to ascend the throne he went to war as a teenager, he was literally a child. All he knew was war. He didn't really initiate much then and didn't know how to be intimate and vowed never to marry or have children. He however expressed his love in the best way he knew how. In this modern iteration, he again is a prodigy but he's an intellectual prodigy. Same thing no parents, family drama so he threw himself into his academics and his research. He's never dated, same as in his former life and he has no clue on how to be romantic. But just like in his previous life, he does subtle sweet meaningful things to show he cares and loves her deeply. Intimacy is something he lacks experience in but I believe he will grow into that.

Some men aren't super romantic but the excel in other areas. Both ZCS from the past and present are about the details. Observing what Shi Yi likes and doing what makes her happy in paying attention to the details. He is accommodating and open to learning as well. That's a man who knows how to love a woman in my opinion. Aggressive passion isn't the only way to show a woman you love her. Some men are passive and that's okay. I think he's cute and I can appreciate his awkwardness because it is authentic to his character. That's my personal opinion. I love them.

So is Mei Xing a reincarnation of someone? It seems like they are creating a subtle jealousy between him and Mei Xing now that he's seen her. His pain and disappointment is so deep and then she solved that thing in seconds that he said his ideal woman could solve. When she was hospitalized he was just as concerned. I feel he's a loyal friend but it seems they are creating low key friction. Just curious about how many others were re-incarnated.

Did you see One and Only? This drama is a continuation of that drama. It's the modern version. The first was tragic to my understanding this was more about them getting the happy ending they didn't get in their past lives but family drama always has to be included.

Whew and him and the Monk in the same drama. That’s a heart attack from excessive heart palpitations waiting to happen. I feel my temperature going up now. Lol.

Mr Ci Sha as Mei Xing is giving me life.

I stan a protective, serious no nonsense king. The suit with just the vest only, that man bun and that “try me if you want to,” attitude. He said “I’m about that life but ZC isn’t so hurt him and deal with me.” Love it. That’s a real friend!!!!

The opening of episode 15 just made me fall in love with this character even more. My goodness.

What you talkin bout!!!! Yes!! Mei Xing is the reason why I'm showing up faithfully for every episode in anticipation that he'll be there. The scene of him in the gym hitting that punching bag. His features are just otherworldly. I've been salty since discovering the world of Asian dramas because I promise we've been deprived here in America of all this here. I want to see somebody's manager for the atrocities and the crimes we have suffered from not being able to see men like this on our TV screens daily. I feel like my whole childhood, teenage years, 20's, 30's were a whole lie! LOL.

Okay. Sorry went on a lil rant. And whew the Monk. I felt like I was committing crimes for the way I was crushing on the Monk. Then they went and upped the game with Mei Xing. Lol. They don't play fair at all.

I can see it. And yes episode 9. That whole scene had me all in my emotionals!! I was like you betta play that role. You betta keep her memory alive. You betta let it be known that she's not in this alone and you'll never give up her memory.

You took the words out of my mouth. I first saw him in Twisted Fate of Love and I was struck by his strong features. I just love his face and his features and his smile is adorable. I just love his character. He is playing this role. He's smart, strong, fierce but not so much that he cannot be weak and vulnerable. The way he cried in front of her. The way he held onto her knowing, believing and wanting her to be the Princess. He knows she is but she keeps dashing his hopes and the way he shows his pain so real and honest and unapologetic. I love it. In Twisted Fate of Love I didn't see this range in him but he is giving us everything here. I love it.

This drama has completely captured my attention and it was so unexpected.

Let's be clear about one thing, you don't know me to speak to me in that manner with your vulgarity and crass language. Take that to someone else. I'm a grown woman. And while I owe you or no one else any explanation, I posted this when I was early in the drama like episode 5 or 6. At that point all I saw of him was his desire to protect her and those that she loves. So please learn some respect and if you don't agree with someone use more intelligent language or just keep scrolling. You don't know me to talk to me in that manner. Thanks.

And now that I've gone back to read my own comment. I didn't mention him as one of the people I was conflicted about. So where did you pull that from?

I knew Mei Xing hadn’t seen her yet. He got drunk about something else. I’m just saying they couldn’t rob us of the moment he found out.

Yes Gramma is the real MVP. I love her. This drama is quite unique with all the strong females. I love it. The ML I love his face. He has such strong beautiful features.

So this drama inexplicably caught my attention last night now I’m 13 binged episodes in and am hooked. I didn’t expect this to be so dang on good. I’m torn between all 3 of the men. I love the story line and well it’s just different yet familiar but different. I like it. I like it a lot.

Yeah I saw it. But she is still getting on my nerves. You would think she wouldn’t want to treat someone how she was and that other conversation about protecting him and linking him with a powerful family foolishness. At any rate she’s just grating my nerves but I know characters like her are needed. And I agree the side characters in O&O were much more intriguing. I love the siblings in this except that shady 2nd son. He got problems. Lol.

We’ll see. But I’m trying to find out how this became about him. My original post was about ZC’s step mom getting on my nerves.

My only issue with that is it’s kind of anti-climatic to him first seeing her and his desire to find her. You would the writers would have gave him something to say when ZC mentioned them finally meeting each other. Just seems to be wrong to be robbed of the moment he learns who she is. That’s my only issue with it if he does know.

I was wondering if he found out. I don’t think he knows because he’s not officially met her but we’ll see. I am so concerned about that but I think he’s a true friend. I didn’t like seeing him sad tho. Not one bit.
