Whining in general just drives me crazy so my tolerance level is low when there's a whiny female character around. But yeah I feel you on the best friend. He set my creep meter off with episode 19. I just saw the scene of him creeping through the villa. His behavior was already over the top but what I just saw was a whole other level of creepy. Respect boundaries much? My goodness. I'm really trying to like this drama but it keeps getting worse. And now he's going to betray his friend over his own obsession just to get back at his father? Like make it make sense.
Just when I thought I would start enjoying this inserts annoying female love rival #2. From whining crying wanna be to snotty princess. Ughhh. Can they be more imaginative. At least let the male love rival ramp up his attention towards Shiyi because I’m really not in the mood for another annoying female. Seriously
This man is FINE, talented and 19. 19???? That’s a 1 and a 9. That’s 10 plus 9 no carrying of the 1 until March and he still gonna be young. Good gracious. He’s gained a fan. Gotta remind myself that he's just a baby. Oy.

My heart. I thought an extra episode would kill it but my goodness we needed it and all the tears that came with the final 2 episodes. That Lee Jun Ho and Lee Se Young give them all the awards NOW. I demand it. The way I fell for this man in this drama. Don’t make no sense. That’s some stellar acting.
I’m watching a poorly translated episode 12 but I’m confused on how some random female who has nothing to do with the FL can call and make a false claim and her company treat her like a villain. I’m upset about that. Someone needs to slap her for real. Ughhh.

Trust me you will know who she is. She is undeniably annoying. She is next level annoying. I dare say she is the most annoying character I’ve seen in some time. I have never wanted to fight the TV so bad.

I really like this drama. I rarely enjoy Johnny Huang’s dramas but I like this character he’s playing. However this whining female is getting on my nerves.
Just when I thought the amnesia foolery and Se Ra met an end. They only ramped it up to a new level of annoying. I’m done done. I’ll come back when it’s episode 47 or something to check in. Done!!!

That's wild and to think, stuff like this really happened as people were merely pawns for political palace power. So sad. And yeah I noticed that the Fairy crew leader was grooming her as a child. She was real interested in her. I figured that's what she was doing when she sent her to go pay respects to the concubine that helped raised San, his grandmother and then everything else. She was setting her up to be a tool but that didn't pan out. Deok Im turned out to be a bit too head strong. Lol.
I don't think I can bear to see the next episodes. I want Deok Im to run away from the palace and fast.
When I found out it was based upon real figures I did some research. I know she was given the highest rank one could be given in her position as a concubine. It's sad she really didn't live long. But she had his heart which is a beautiful thing. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to be a woman during those times, especially a woman in the palace. The system they operated on too as it relates to status made things difficult.
All of the children they had together died too. Makes you wonder why. Says she died from liver cancer. She was pregnant with their third child when she died. It's tragic.
True because the visual of her still being a child just soured my stomach.
And? The visual and the thought of it is still gross and it will always be a gross thought and visual especially because these things happened for real as I shared in another post. Was there more you wanted to add. Because my personal feelings toward it won't change. It's gross to think about a grown man and a child. Is it not? Am I not supposed to be disgusted by it? Yes her brother is the worst. I find it telling as well how the San has said to him multiple times "all these years you've been by my side and don't know what I want." Like he has no understanding of anything other than his own wants, desires and plans. He also seems to have a deep disdain for women. They are mere chess pieces or useless to him. I knew he was no good when he took credit for saving San as kids. San is smart though, he sees right through him.
In the preview for 14, he seemed more upset that his sister died without giving him an heir than he did about her actually being dead. Crazy.
