After several recommendations and beautiful words of praise I finally broke down and watched this drama. I'm not big on period dramas, thus my hesitation. I was feeling it, got invested and then BAM heart destroyed, broke, twisted, turn, sent through the ringer, broken, given hope for restoration only be broken again. The moments I wanted to last were fleeting and the pain was much longer than the Love I was expecting from the name of the title. And then that ending. What was that? What is this? What do I do with this ending and my pain. It was worth it just for the visual gift who is Lee Joon Gi and others like Name Joo Hyuk, Ji Soo and others but my goodness. I'm gonna need some serious healing after this. Why??? Why?? Why??? Why???????
Over the past couple of days I've fallen head over heels in love with Lee Seung Gi and all I have to say is this - the Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Romantic Comedy... Well all of it suits him well. He himself is a beautiful fantasy. This man. Oh and I just started this drama and so far so good. It's cute and funny..
a single scene of DH's mother and SB is more than enough to make me cry but today they had so many heart touching…
Yeah I noticed that's just her character and it's cool. Just a lot of her behavior well the hyper active over the top moment of seeking his attention has been more childlike than a person with childish ways. And it's made it difficult to see them as a couple but the growth in her character shown in today's episode has helped me see that a relationship between them isn't going to be creepy because up until this point she's seemed more like something else and not a romantic type of vibe between them. Her being young and even having fun moments is fine - but some aspects of her immaturity makes it feel like she's still in high school and in considering that it's weird when it comes to being in a relationship with a man in his 30's. But I've been pulling for them since the beginning. I however had a moment where I wanted her with Puppy because it seemed mentally and maturity wise they were a better fit together. But I'm happy to see their relationship finally develop.
puppy is cute but DH is love.. he is one of the nicest male leads ever in kdrama..also practically puppy is not…
Oh yes the couple pairing in SWDBS has to be my favorite next to the couple pairing in Crash Landing On You oh my goodness. Hyung Sik is so precious. I miss him. He finishes his military duty this year or 2021. I am a huge fan of Ha Seok Jin his next drama is coming soon. I also adore Woo Do Hwan who just left for his military duty and I think Lee Seung Gi is amazing. I'm looking for more dramas from him. I just finished Vagabond, Gu Family Book, A Korean Odyssey and I just started another with him in it.
And yeah Ji Chang Wook is like 5'10 and the 2nd ML if I'm remembering correctly from Healer is Yoo Ji Tae and he's like 6'2.
I don't know much about NJH from SP but in all the Ji Chang Wook drama's I've seen thus far her chemistry has been the best with him.

True I agree. More often than not the people we meet are flawed like anyone else but have good intentions and are sweet. And I've seen the same good guys are always treated badly it seems especially in that 20-27 age group. I think sometimes its a matter of woman believing they are deserving of a good guy. Most at that age don't believe they are so they don't know how to treat them or receive love from them. And I like the story line of MMS because I'm a science nerd and certain things interest me in general. I don't like how self the female lead was towards the end. And the FL in Healer she was young I really enjoyed her in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and Her Private Life. I figured she was just young and still learning in Healer. And I agree his best on-screen relationship was the girl from SP. Best one yet. The chemistry was amazing and believable.

Yeah I loved him in SP and MS as well. My favorite character so far is the guy in The K2 and Healer is second. Ji Chang Wook seems to be such a genuine guy in general and it's amazing. And it's cool that you know guys like him, that's a blessing I'm sure.

Yeah her childishness is understandable due to her situation and she needed that love and attention. I love that about his family because they gave her and her sister in this episode something they missed which is beautiful. For me it's made it hard to see them as a couple it's felt more like brother/sister or more like an underage girl crushin on the older guy. And yeah Ji Chang Wook is gorgeous. He looks no older than 26 to me. The girl playing SB is 20 I believe. The dynamic of their relationship will be sweet. She however cannot remain in the mindset of that 12 year old girl in love with a 22 year old man. She's an adult and I'm hoping after this process of healing and being loved it will reflect a bit more because again she's seemed more like a child than a woman but that's to be understood because of her life and losses. I believe we saw some development in her character today in how she handled the situation. She did it her way but she also considered his words instead of being reckless and trying to do it on her own. It shows she understands that she has a loving support system. So I saw the maturity of a woman in her. Now it won't seem like he's with a child because it's felt that way in some aspects. I want them to keep the fun between them though.
I agree, puppy is the better candidate for SB. Just because he’s an actor, it doesn’t mean he can’t make…
Yeah their interactions after his mom moved her in came off more as brother/sister. We'll see how it goes now because I think they're cute and will make a sweet couple but we need to see more of SB the woman and not SB the immature kid. She's beautiful but she's extremely childlike and that's problematic and a bit weird even though she's of age.
She is quite annoying. But I believe her character serves one purpose - to show that we all got that one relative…
Yeah. I believe she's just there to trigger those emotions. I'm sorry you feel attacked. I too want to throw something when she shows up. Hopefully we will see no more of her.. LOL. Because you're right she shows up steals, screams and listens to no one. We are all screaming a collective Bye Felicia to his sister LOL..

Yes! I thought that was cute. I've been struggling with the awkwardness of them getting together because she seems so young and immature. I don't have an issue with the older man/younger woman or older woman/younger man thing but her immaturity and his mom taking her and treating her more like a child than a woman who needs help makes her seem young. His mom is sweet and I love her character so I have no complaints - it just makes SB seem a little too young for him. I'm hoping we see a more mature SB going forward. We saw glimpses of it at the end of episode 13 with her encouraging him to take that position at the company so I think it will be okay because I really do think they are cute and that lil scene just confirmed how cute they will be together - that and other scenes from recent episodes.

You make an excellent point. No rebuttal here. I just feel his character is so genuinely sweet. The age gap older man/younger woman or older woman/younger man thing doesn't bother me but she so much like a child and his mom treating her more like a child than a woman is making it difficult to see them as a couple-seems but I think they're cute. I understand she's a wounded young girl so maybe now that she's had a chance to cry - maybe we'll see a bit more maturity from her to make the relationship seem believable. Which we saw a glimpse of it when she told him to go to the corporate office and take that job because it's what he's always wanted.

Me too. He's just a regular handsome guy and I like that about this character. He's not a spoiled entitled chaebol or the complicated wounded rich guy - just a regular guy with a heart of gold. I love it.
If you don't mind asking may i know who is puppy??
Oh Puppy or Kang Ji Wook is played by Kim Min Kyu he's not the 2nd ML but he has a significant connection to the FL. The actor is exceptionally cute, he has the most beautiful smile.
puppy is cute but DH is love.. he is one of the nicest male leads ever in kdrama..also practically puppy is not…
Agreed. Puppy is sweet but not in the position to give her what she needs and the extra added attention is a no go. Yes DH is LOVE. I just love Ji Chang Wook in general his heart seems to shine through most his characters. He's an amazing actor and I just feel like he's the most adorable actor ever. How one can be sexy and adorable all at the same time is beyond me but he pulls off the playful boy next door/grown man that you need dynamic well. No one can do it like he does it.
As much as I love Ji Chang Wook and he's the male lead. I really would have been happy to see Puppy get the girl. He is so precious. I love his smile. Those dimples of his are everything. Goodness Puppy is so sweet.
