That’s fair lol, you like who you like! And oof if you’re talking about “Backstreet Rookie,” *sigh* this year has not been the year for dramas for him honestly, idk what it is ... And that’s very true, that’s also why I think stuntmen and woman would be fantastic in getting action roles, be as they actually go to camps to train and they’d be prepared for the amount of action they’d do :) thought about being a stuntwoman, then action roles I think would be easier for me, because I’d already be used to kicking ass lol

I agree, the first half for the most part was solid, but then after the first half everything fell out of place, and I reallyyyy hated Yoona’s character, like there was no purpose for her tbh, AND I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST YOONA IRL BTW, I honestly thought she deserved better. JCW was one of the only good parts of the K2 but it’s a shame he doesn’t want to take more action roles after the experience he had with the exercise and diets he had to go through on the drama ... AND YES, that last sentence, couldn’t agree more, literally the girl had to be saved every five minutes lol

Maybe! There was an interview I saw where JCW didn’t want to do action roles for awhile because he suffered from “myalgia???” In his neck from The K2, which is pretty serious, and he had apparently rigorous schedules in filming action scenes and with his diet and exercise, I wouldn’t call him lazy lololol, I wouldn’t go that far, I think he’s looking for an action role that doesn’t require such lengths that undermine his health, WHICH, I hella respect ... Hollywood and Korean Hollywood put too much pressure on men when it comes to exercise / diet plans for action roles ... It’s ridiculous honestly ... *major eyeroll * like not all guys in action movies NEED TO BE BUFF lol, anyway imo he can do what he wants, but smoking doesn’t help the body, and that’s a fact, so I’ll just leave my opinion at that :’) And ... *sighhhh* you know what ... with the roles he’s taken this past year, I think he might be a little lost as well, because ngl even as a fan of his, his dramas this past year haven’t been it ... AND OMG dramafeverrrrr, *sigh* I remember the days where I could connect my xbox and watch kdramas in HD quality, I miss dramafever, I’ve been subscribed to VIKI ever since, normally I just pay the yearly fee so that way I don’t have to pay every month but, I decided monthly was the way to go this year :/

There’s a reason why this drama is on my favorites list. Every twist and turn had a purpose, the acting was fireeee, and most importantly in the end the villains got their “comuppens” >:))) the pacing was solid too, compared to most kdramas I’ve seen, and it had all the thrill & suspense I was looking for to be engaged, waiting for every episode was agonizing lol, I highly recommend

This kdrama is still saddest I’ve ever seen, I never cry watching dramas, but the end to this one made me cry the river nile ... It, by a long shot, has one of the most damn depressing endings I’ve ever seen, but it was also my first historical drama, along with Empress Ki, in terms of acting performances I love this one a lot, Lee Joon-Gi really got to shine, and this was the first time I saw IU’s acting, which I honestly didn’t see a problem with like many others at the time. I recommend this drama to anyone who can stand tearjerkers, and an interesting storyline which even though towards the end falls apart, is still able to hold your interest because of the many twist and turns :’))))

I did hear about JCW and action roles, but I also think it’s the workouts & diets that take a toll on him personally, like he’s what, 33? Being in your 30’s is the timeeee to do action roles lol, it’s your older prime, past your 20’s you should be in mint condition to do action roles of you want to do them, UNLESS there’s a medical condition the actor / actress hasn’t told us about, I heard rumors and read articles he smokes, if that’s true, that could be the cause because smoking can f—- you up internally like, but besides that, I’m sad he hasn’t done more action roles :/ I miss that side for sure. AND YES. I agree with what you said about KSH, taking mature roles would be wise, and I definitely think he’s ready for those, that’s why I suggested the genres I did, most of those, you’ve got to be mature or ready for shit to happen you know lol? He’s definitely about his craft, that’s why I respect him a lot, if he does another role like HJP because he was most definitely mature in that role, I’d take it!! LOL YES!

This message is to all these salty penguins in the feed who are butthurt over Ji Soo getting the FL role:

Did you audition for the FL?
In the audition room did you see the capacity of her acting?
In the audition room did you see her emotional range?
Even “if” another actress was more qualified, do you think they would’ve fit the company or directors vision of the character she has to play?

The answer to all of these should be, NO, and here’s why. In Arthdal Chronicles we only got a glimpse of her acting, why? Because she had a “guest role.” This drama will be her “debut” role. I’m not even a BLINK but even I can respect someone’s debut because even though it may or may not be their best, it’s a DEBUT, no one should expect it to be good, or bad. As for her casting, she auditioned just like anyone else, I don’t see the problem with her being cast (unless of course the decision was pre-determined, which quite honestly we’ll never know, but I’d change my judgment on her casting if I found out that was the cause because that’s not fair game) and if people in this feed do, it’s because your mad your favs didn’t get picked or you might just have some salt to spare against BLACKPINK as a whole ... None of us know how well she’ll do until the show is officially released, that means when episode 1 airs, EYES ARE OUT. I think it’s anyone’s moral obligation to respect the choice the company and director made by casting her and see what she has to offer, after the series is released and you’re still not satisfied, THEN you have everyone’s permission to make your judgment ....

This is a big problem I’m finding in the kdrama world, that actors are pre-chosen, and honestly, it’s not hard to spot sometimes, if a company or director wants a idol to star in their drama, they need to justify the reason why, because this can lead to backlash, honestly I’m excited to see what Ji Soo has to offer, but I also wanted her to be cast for her acting talent, NOT her face, which happens too much in the kdrama industry ....

The only reason I haven’t watched this yet is because it’s a “slow burn” romance, I cannot stand slow burn romances lmao, I want sh— to happen every episode, not wait for it to happen you know? That’s why prefer action / thriller series, or rom-coms to stay interested, for SKJ & PMY I might give this one a watch though, they’re both excellent actors :)
