Ahh, this is golden! HJP only has 40 minutes of screen time in 16 episodes? That's pretty sad.Or is this just…
I mean like, the guy has his own damn fan club because of how successful his performance was as HJP lol, you don’t get that kind of success unless you “MADE” the drama what it is
He really impressed me with his physicality in the role. I thought he was a weakling before this drama. He shows…
YES. Omg, so happy you brought “typecasting” up ... this has happened with quite a few of my fav actors / actresses, Ji Chang-Wook & Lee Min Ho being two of them unfortunately, they used to do quite a bit of action roles, now is more they’ve settled into rom-com, which is alright, but they were soooo good in action / thriller dramas ... Now I only see them in like just “pure” romance you know? I think JCW got typecasted the most tbh, after Healer & The K2, I didn’t see him in more action roles, in the film Fabricated City he got some action, but after that, nothing, all the roles he’s taken within the past year have been melodramas or rom-coms too ... *sigh* I miss the action king :’), I’m afraid of the same thing happening to Kim Seon Ho too, he’s definitely not a flower boy, but he’s got enough masculinity where he can pull off some thriller / action roles, even if you he didn’t have that he’d be good in those genres I think. As long as he’s versatile with the roles he chooses, he’s in good hands :’))), OMG THE BOXING SCENE WAS MY FAV OF THE WHOLE SERIES. THE WHOLE SERIES. I create storyboards for screenplays I hope to pitch n the future as films / TV, he’s the only actor I’d want as the ML in one of my stories, and it’s all because of that scene and his role as HJP in Start Up (though you knew that already lol)
They’re not lol, zombies and spirits are two different things y’all
Lmao well I have to write a paragraph when someone’s comparing two completely different dramas, based off their synopsis, but it was my pleasure to insinuate how brilliant this drama is going to be, can’t wait to see those EVIL SPIRITS >; )

I agree with this, Start-Up had massive success because of HJP and Kim Seon Ho’s performance. I think by the end of the drama nobody was watching for Suzy or Nam Joo Hyuk lmao XD
I never thought any of my favorite actor's drama will be in my worst drama list but this one proved me wrong...…
I agree :/ I was so disappointed with how it turned out, and omg .... K2 was pretty bad imo, the action & JCW were awesome, everything else, not so much lol, it’s been awhile since I’ve been satisfied with a Wookie drama tbh ... That’s even sadder :’(
He really impressed me with his physicality in the role. I thought he was a weakling before this drama. He shows…
YES HE DID, honestly I love it when actors are versatile and they take different genre roles, like rom-com oneday and then horror-thriller the next, I respect those actors / actresses the most tbh. Kim Seon Ho is one of those versatile actors, he nails every role he’s in, and I’m so happy he’s getting worldwide recognition for his acting he deserves it. I’d love to see him in these genres: action, horror, horror-sci-fi, or thriller, he definitely has a masculine side and that’s why people have the hots for him lol, he’s gentle yet mature, he proved that in Start Up for me :’) and yes I completely agree, recognition well deserved!!!
on iqiyi , they are now getting korean dramas rights as viki and netflix
True! That’s why I have so many streaming platforms XD, Amazon prime, Netflix, & VIKI, I don’t like getting free dramas ether but hey, it’s nice to be treated once in awhile so you don’ have to pay that $9.99 every month you know?
Maybe its just me but im annoyed by how they switch scenes. Like when things are about to get intense (example:…
Kdramas do this a lot, and the editing can kill a drama for me sometimes, I prefer log shots, than quick shaky cam. It’s not really a suspense drama either come to think about it, it’s more action-horror, that might be why you got annoyed lol, you want suspense? Try watching The Guest, now THAT drama is suspenseful, or Gonjam Asylum
YEEEEEESSSSSSS, my god ... it’s about time Ji Chang-wook took an action role ... I’m stoked, he’s so good in action series, I wish he’d do more. He’s one of my favorite actors in the action genre, he does a lot of his own stunts too. The only actors I can think of that do great in action dramas alongside him are: Lee Min ho, Lee Joon-gi, Lee Byung-hun, Kim Soo Hyun, and Song Joon Ki, so ready for this <3
DARNNNNN IT, WHY COULDN’T LEE JONG SUK HAVE A LEAD ROLE, *sigh,* honestly I think he’d be great as a police officer who’s looking for Ja Yun or something, overall I’m so excited to watch this though, man ever since I saw part 1, I’ve been dying for a part 2, the action was Oscar worthy :’)

While You Were Sleeping is by far superior to all of these, why? The plot stayed consistent, the writing was great, the twists & turns were some of the best I’d seen in a kdrama at the time, the acting performances were stellar, & the cinematography was top notch. I’ll always recommend this drama to those who want recs, it’s incredible. Suzy’s performance also surprised me, she was great in this, and when people tell me she can’t act, I send the clips of this drama. I said what I needed to say, I’m out *puts meme shades on and exits.*
Big fan of Ji Chang-wook, ever since he crushed my soul in Empress Ki I’ve been a fan, but even as a fan, and it pains me to say this, this drama was one of the worst I’ve ever seen, mainly because the plot led, NOWHERE. The beginning had a lottt of potential and that intrigued me, watched it all the way till the end and thought, “who tf wrote this?” “is this the same drama?” After the announcement of his return from the military, I definitely had hopes for this drama because the teasers looked honestly solid, but not only was the pacing and writing low, the chemistry between the ml & fl felt incredibly forced, and that’s a bigggg no no in kdramaland. I was so disappointed with the end result, this is all imo but I’m sure I’m not alone :’( still saddens me ...
I’m reallllyyyyy interested to see how the chemistry will pan out in this drama, Ro Woon’s performance in Extraordinary You was incredible, the mans got a gift :’), however, I have to yet become a fan of Won Jin Ah, because her performance in Melting Me Softly ... wasn’t it. This is entirely imo (also imo that drama was a train wreck, and not even in the slightest Ji Chang-Wook’s best, and I oop). Although I’ll admit the core reason I’ll be watching this, is because of Ro Woon, I’ll give it a shot for her as well because I don’t think she’s bad actress, and I wanna see what she’s got in this one, lets go!!!
