I come back here ... just to remind people how good this drama is lol, the end could've been better imo, but still, one of Yeo Jin-goo's best dramas to date.

Yes. The writers don't seem to know how to make the rules in the fantasy world make sense. They spend alot of…
What's hilarious though ... is nothing makes sense lol, and the best part is there are plenty of dramas to show you what NOT to do when you get past the climax of your plot, and two of them are flashbacks (unless they have significance) and pacing, but no one seems to get that lol

I think the problem is that the usual historical dramas are too preoccupied with royals and succession. One interesting…
Oh I agree, majority of historical kdramas are centered around a prince, king, or princess and I’m like, was that all there was back then lol??? How bout a couple of assassin stories? You know diverse characters of all classes as leads???

most historical dramas get boring after ep8 because of one genre. Seize of power and politics thats it
It’s all the political bs, and I cannot tell you how many times I get bored because of it -____- also notice majority of historical kdramas have too much going on

I've seen many comments saying this show starts going downhill after a while. From which episode exactly? I'm…
For me? When they started repeating the “ritual storyline” at least three times or more, I consider a drama going downhill when the plot drags for a significant amount of episodes, where there’s only filler and unnecessary chatter for 5+ episodes, that have no significance to the plot, after ep 10 you can see the ritual storyline repeatedly mentioned but nothing actually … happening lol. Also the start of the show the demon was interesting but he was only seen twice when I’m sure a good chunk of the viewers thought we were gonna see him more than once, maybe in limbo like we saw were the two main leads were together and facing him (one of the better scenes of this drama). The amount of twists and turns don’t outway a plot that’s all over the place, not even for this drama :/

This is why I’m not a fan of historical fantasy kdramas or just modern fantasy dramas anymore … for some reason they always “dip” towards the end, either writing gets lazy, plot drags (ritual plotline oh good lord …), watching this show from start to almost finish, one day to go, it had a lot of potential, but once again repetitive and draggy scenes strike again, I really wish screenwriters would take some notes at this point lol
