I literally just finished this movie today and all I have to say is wow, WOW, I am stunned on how amazing this film was: the storyline, screenplay, OST, cinematography and costume design were just ... chef’s kiss and like damn, I didn’t expect some mystery or solid bromance in this film, fully aware this isn’t a BL, but I’m actually glad because some stories don’t need a romantic sub-plot, sometimes it needs two guys trying to kick some demonic ass with no female love interest, and the power of friendship lmao. The acting performances were stellar as well, gotta commend both Allen Deng and Mark Chao, if there’s a second film I hope the same cast returns for a second film, or if the cast returned for drama I’d be %100 satisfied as well. I loved this film ...

Okay so I’m gonna be honest here: I just finished this movie, the CGI wasn’t bad, costumes & sets were on point, the foreign actors acting were just ... honestly not great, and as much as I loved how many cultures and ethnicities were represented in this film, none of these things could fix the terrible script this film had, holy lord ...

Literally sameeeee dude, haven’t seen his acting since the Hobbit films, threw me for a loop tbh, and yessssss omg, as someone who’s watched Hollywood films most of their life, I %100 agree with this .... So tired of actors not using a native language or like half ass English lol

I feel like this happens a lotttt in Korean films tbh, and I’m pretty sure its a nod toward how Western movies show and portray Eastern characters, which I’m honestly tired of foreign films and dramas depicting people from the West as like bad guys etc. I live in the West and I’m just tired of cultures being thrown under the bus lol, so I’m sad the Western acting was bad ... but I’m very happy more cultures got to shine!!!
