Since Yang Yang has been having all sorts of success with his tv dramas, recently… I really hope that “My Fireworks on Earth” will also be one of them.
Because it is confirmed that Chinese tv productions are unable to make a decent firefighting/rescuing thriller drama that is of the same caliber as (Kdrama Productions) “Jirisan” and “Forest.” The last produced ones were simply not good: - “Lan Yan Tu Ji” - “The Flaming Heart”
I concur. That actress is beyond boring. She is so gloomy, emotionless and rigid. I wish that new tech girl was Allen Ren’s female love interest… Not that old Miss “Forever Gloomy Face” whatever the hell her character’s name was again…
Alright… It is confirmed that Chinese tv productions are unable to make a decent firefighting/rescuing thriller drama. Because of Allen Ren, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. However, “Lan Yan Tu Ji” is just as bad as “The Flaming Heart.”
*I was expecting a good firefighting/rescuing thriller drama of the same caliber as (Kdrama Productions) “Jirisan” and “Forest.”What I got… It is an immature subpar romcom… Badly written… Badly directed… Badly edited…
Zhang Zhe Han! Fighting! “Once you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.”
Personally for me, there seems to be an entire maze of subterranean rock bottoms below my initial rock bottom… You are an inspiration to all of us out there… Who are still down below. Your international friends will forever support you, no matter what.
Wow… Finally… It took them like forever for this second part. They could have been in part 5, by now. Sadly, it is not a reprise of the original cast. Hopefully, it is as good as the first part.
Not as serious as I thought it would be… This drama seems to have been produced more like an average romcom. There is something very wrong with this production. With the exception for Allen Ren, I can understand not every production is going to have a stellar cast… I fully understand that. However in this drama… The script, the general writing, the directing and the editing are seriously lacking. I am not sure about this one, yet.
*After watching the following military dramas… - “Arsenal Military Academy” - “You Are My Hero” - “The Glory of Youth” - “Glory of the Special Forces” It is difficult to watch one deviating more on the comical side.
Propaganda or whatnot… I am always favorable to any military genre. “A girl may have not join the service, contrarily to her family’s military tradition; however, her military’s genes will always remain.”
*I was very much convinced by Yang Yang’s performance. He has evolved a lot, as an actor in recent years. I really thought that I was going to favor more “The Glory of Youth” with Li Yi Feng… Surprisingly enough, I love both “The Glory of Youth” and “Glory of the Special Forces” equally.
*I wish we had many more episodes for both of them.
You know something is that good… Just looking at the mere poster of it…Makes you laugh🥹😅😂🤣.
Although “Mr. Queen” is a comical Sageuk; however, one of the very best that I have watched and truly enjoyed in recent years. The last Sageuks that I truly enjoyed were “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” - Kdrama and “The Swordsman” - Korean movie. And that says a lot…
There is a continuous pattern here… Xiao Yun Jie (A likable character but with some very average abilities) never does anything remotely special nor extraordinary; however, this beyond-than-lucky-dude always enjoys the benefits from Yan getting scolded, framed, yelled at, disqualified, demoted, passed over, reprimanded and downright disliked by the entire Chinese military. Xiao Yun Jie is one lucky character.
😫😩🥺😢😭

I am liking this.

I will check it out.
I am as happy to have dropped this; as I did for “The Flaming Heart.”
Not that I cared about any of the characters… And I mean, ANY…
But still.
Dang!
I tried, tried and tried…
Until, I got seriously enough.
This is a drop.

Enough already… With the darned comedy, impulsive and immature act.
My expectations were way too high on that one🥺.
Since, it was Allen Ren…
Well, I was expecting our well-versed Allen Ren…

🤨🤨🤨
Therefore, I really hope that “The Emperor’s Love” will also become one of my classic favorites.
