Haha yeah his character is not new in Kdrama world, but the difference is this drama writer really addressed his asshole-ness in details. ML characters in typical romcom dramas would change drastically after falling in love and after that, they act like they weren’t an asshole in the past. 😂

That’s what I love about CL. The writer takes this matter seriously (ep 14 is the peak), though the development is slow compared to usual romcom dramas.

Don’t remind me to rewatch Voice just because of KJW 😭

Don’t worry. If you can’t stand her, just skip the scenes where she’s alone. I don’t know what you meant by “free pass” but the writer has made it clear that she has no, zero chances to get back with the ML.

She started off as a good person tho. 😌But I’m one of the viewers who dislike her from the very beginning. 🤣

Actually, this drama is mainly about the ML’s character development. His character is supposed to be unlikeable. To put it simply, he’s an “antihero”. 😆

But you’ll see his character development is kinda slow because of the fact that the writer doesn’t make his attitude change just because of the FL, unlike other typical romcom Kdramas (like after falling in love, the ML changes 180 degree. It’s unrealistic this way).

Of course the FL plays a part in it, but the writer wants us to witness his realistic character development, the real and painful causes, impacts & process of it, not drastic solely because of love.

I keep rewinding the scene where OSG made NGJ listen to the voice clip of his sister & NGJ’s conversation.

No matter how many times I listened to it, even from the first time of listening to it, it still sounds like an edited/falsified voice recording. Both Oh Sehee’s voice & NGJ’s voice don’t match in these aspects:

Waveform, background ambience, speech pacing, wording & noise floor

I understand why OSG believed that clip in the first place; he’s clouded by the initial reaction/emotion which is shocked, which then turned into rage, leading to revenge.

But are there any viewers here who believe the authenticity of that voice clip? Or still in doubt? I’m just wondering. Want to know your thoughts regarding this.

Okay I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed this in episode 14, because if I remember correctly, @idrilannare had mentioned about it once few days ago, on the night of ep14 airing.

I’ve watched CLOY and I loved it! I still remember how my heart sank when he died. Because of that ending, I couldn’t rate it 10/10. I mean, one of my favourite characters died, how could I? 😭
