Today, I was re-watching parts of the early shows. Watching Kim Jae Wook play a man who has amnesia - but doesn't…
Lmao are you me? Because same!
Before started watching CL, I read the synopsis that clearly said “a CEO who fakes amnesia” so while watching early episodes I was like “where’s the fake amnesia tho?”
Until ep4. I felt so stupid watching that ending. But nah I’m not stupid. KJW’s brilliant acting really got me! 💀
And after rewatching, I saw the micro expressions that he was faking it too, like you said. HOW IS HE GOOD AT DOING BOTH AT THE SAME TIME?! 😭
Are you talking about the company dinner scene, where Ms Ma keeps shoving the drinks to Shinah? 😆That’s part…
Lmao Ms. Ma is really immature for a grown woman. I get why Shinah doesn’t do anything to Ms. Ma after the incident of her pouring the juice all over that woman tho - because Ms. Ma is not worth it. 🤣
I find it interesting about the talk of the real culprit. In the end the real culprit is NGJ! His actions caused…
One of many things that we should learn from this drama is don’t blame someone else for our wrong choices in life.
NGJ’s character is an antihero from the beginning. This drama is mainly about his character development, how he became cold and indifferent towards other people around him because of his painful background leading him to suffer from abandonment issues & trust issues, then later we witness how his character changes from negative to positive.
I like that after being insulted by the rich people around him, NGJ chose to strive for success instead of revenge or continue blaming them for his misery (like what everyone has been doing to him rn).
The only thing I could agree with is his bad & unforgiving attitude towards his secretaries & employees. But the people who made wrong choices in life? What happened to them is not his fault & responsibility. They should face the consequences (suing is a bit too much tho, IMO) and instead of blaming someone, they should reflect on themselves first.
Of course, NGJ should also reflect on his past behaviour towards the people around him. I’m not saying he could get away with it. So I love the fact that the writer doesn’t make his attitude change just because of the FL, like other typical romcom Kdramas. Of course LSA plays a part in it, but the writer wants us to witness his realistic character development, the real and painful causes, impacts & process of it, not drastic solely because of love.
So, I don’t think the real culprit is NGJ. This drama plot is a lot more complex than what it seems. OSG also plays his part by manipulating NGJ’s employees, making them hate NGJ behind his back. The drama might not show much of his part, but since we know now that he had been planning those schemes, I’m sure he’s been doing the manipulation for a a while. Added to NGJ’s already rude manners, it’s become like a “snowball effect”.
And thanks to that email incident, that moment was when major realisation hit him, seeing that everyone has been retaliating against him - the peak of his character development.
To conclude, I think it’s still early to judge. Maybe OSG’s sister didn’t die because of NGJ. In the preview synopsis of ep 15, it’s said that OSG has been targeting his vengeance towards the wrong person. It’s also said that we’ll see NGJ apologise to all the people he did wrong to. Hopefully the people who did wrong to him will apologise too. And hopefully he’ll become more forgiving and soft-hearted.
Yesss that’s the biggest difference between BSY and LSA. BSY doesn’t communicate. She just does everything up to her. Didn’t even acknowledge her fault, and manipulated not only the “amnesiac” NGJ but also his fiancé. She’s toxic.
While LSA always communicate with NGJ and would always stay by his side. She’s queen. 👑
So, that Baek gurl literally wants to own Noh. Like wtf, her love for him is very rare and its very scary. I often…
She doesn’t know the real reason NGJ faked his amnesia (which is because of OSG), so being full of herself, she thought she was the reason NGJ did that. LMAO it’s been 12 freaking years girlll
But I think BSY is even worse than OSG. OSG’s actions are driven by his sister, which is an acceptable reason. But BSY? That b* can’t be helped anymore. 🤦🏻♀️

That b**** doesn’t love NGJ. At this rate, she’s only obsessed & delusional.
And Sina won’t even talk back at her because that b**** isn’t even worth her time. I love that Sina just walks away at the cafe without saying anything anymore.
😟 what if her dad is behind everything that’s happening to NGJ? 💀

That’s part of their culture. Juniors can’t refuse a drink offer from seniors.
Of course, it’s part of plot drive (she had to drink too much - she throws up).
I think “Voice” really played a big part in this. The sinister Mo Tae Goo appears on my mind when NGJ’s bad side appears on the screen. 🤣
He only played a villain role once, but it lingers for years to come. Iconic & legendary! 👏🏼
I can see why he chose this drama script (outstanding & brilliant writing) and I’m so grateful he did.

She NEVER thinks. Was she even an instructor before? How could she get the CEO position? Stupid.
Oh but she’d suit a politician as her job hahahah

Her silence at that moment spoke VOLUMES! 👏🏼😆
We have a big chance to get a happy ending! 🥰
