This movie is where I learned “the moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”
I don’t know how me & my friends discovered & watch it tho. I forgot LOL because this is not something that I’d choose to watch but somehow I ended up watching it with my besties during university. And we loved it!
Actually, he’s super famous & his net worth is high in The Philippines! :)
Oh hahah I see your point. Yeah, on MDL, people focus most on Kdrama, then Chinese, Thai, Japanese. I think Filipino shows are the least famous here. 🤔
I watched this twice. The first time, I dropped it after a few episodes because the hate & revenge tropes were too much. And I was traumatised after watching Game Sanaeha which was full with misunderstandings. I was afraid that it would turn out like Game Sanaeha, which wasted my time watching till the end.
But a few days ago, I felt like picking it up again. Started watching it from ep1, hooked because of the great chemistry between Mark & Yaya, then stayed for the FL’s life story (HECK, is there anyone whose life is as sad & melo as hers? Her life is too sad I cried with her!), then kept staying for the romance, and here I am, rating this drama 8/10!
I skipped many scenes tho, specifically the scenes with the other two side couples (Chayan & Piyak, Dao & Jade), and also scenes with Jee’s stepfather, and also some unnecessary filler scenes like with the maid at Jee’s family house.
Wow Mark & Bow?! I just thought of this pairing a few days ago because after Nadech & Bow, I thought “why not?” LOL and I just came here to check Mark’s future dramas and OMG I hope this pairing will be confirmed!
The original is a melodrama but this one is heavily on thriller side. It wasn't even promoted as romance. I didn't…
I know that GLT focus more on the thriller/action side than the romance, as that’s what we see so far, and I don’t mind about that.
But I hope GLT won’t be messily executed. I hope we they won’t end it in a rush with some unresolved problems.
The original version is an old lakorn, so it’s understandable. But for GLT, I have high hopes that as a remake, it’ll be good or at least better than the original one.
I think plot wise, GLT might be better than Prajan Lai Payak because assuming from the opening scene, the 2nd ML (Mavin) might end up with Lisa. So maybe it’ll be less frustrating.
In the original version, the 2nd ML pursues the FL, they become a couple before the sister tries to kill the FL & then the sister and the 2nd male lead die. Only a few minutes before the credit scene that the main couple gets together & is shown to live happily with a daughter.
IMO, the ending of the original version is rushed. The plot is kinda messy. So I hope GLT wouldn’t be following the storyline 100%.

PS: I regret watching it while it’s still ongoing LOL

The main couple have a daughter at the end of the final episode.
