Yes, it’s a happy ending. But I’d prefer saying “bittersweet” because although the main couple ends up together, they lost close friends along the way.
This is the one lakorn that I first thought of when I started watching Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. The vibes are very similar! 😂
A main character from the big town moving to a small town, then meeting his/her love interest who’s the total opposite, then there are funny villagers, no love triangle, no unnecessary dramas. Simple yet deep.
But this lakorn is much more simple & realistic than HomeCha. HomeCha, on the other hand, has a little dramatic plot to it.
Wow I haven’t been here for almost a month and I miss YAMG nation! How are y’all doing? Still rewatching YAMG? Rewatching YAMG related contents on YT?
I’m still doing it once in a while, but luckily HomeCha is helping me heal after finishing YAMG lol
Do you guys have any more romance drama recommendations that can brighten up our days like YAMG?
Here’s my list for now: 1. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (Kdrama) 2. Mon Ruk Nong Pak Ka Yang/To Me It’s Simply You (Thailand) 3. Our Sister’s Soulmate (Japan) 4. A Poem A Day (Kdrama) 5. Yumi’s Cells (Kdrama) 6. Dali and The Cocky Prince (Kdrama)
P/S: I’m actually SO SO glad to see that there are still many good comments/reviews on this YAMG page. It’s heartwarming to see your favourite drama getting lots of love innit? And you know this drama indeed deserves the love. :’)
LOL I had a dream last night, and in that dream, there were Yang Yang, Dilreba & Kim Seon Ho. The best thing is I were in that dream too, meeting all of them in person! It was the best dream I’ve had these past few months. :’)
I think it’s because I’m rewatching YAMG and at the same time, I’m watching Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. XD
To be honest, ever since I got myself into Asian dramas 11 years ago, I’ve never had any dreams related to dramas that I watched/the actors/actresses in those dramas. I guess I got lucky. :P
I almost cried during the rocket launch lol best moment of the drama imo
I couldn’t control my tears hahah
All I thought was “wow, they’ve really come this far. It was a long journey, but it’s all worth it in the end. Now there’ll be more stars to see, more love to give.” :’(
And another part of me was crying because I knew I was going to have a very hard time to move on from this drama, but I didn’t know what to watch next to help me move on. XD
Just want to ask for your opinion.. If we say that it's a slowburn drama, do you think that it's a spoiler?I kinda…
I have the same thought. I think the biggest problem lies on the “gaming”/“E-sport” term in the genre/synopsis. It’s what makes some people expect this drama to be a fast-paced drama, while YAMG doesn’t really focus on gaming like other E-sport Cdramas.
Only certain people here can be able to edit the drama info, right? Because I can’t. 😂
You’re not the only one. Here, let me throw you a virtual hug. 😭
That’s what makes the drama unique. The conflict is shown in the beginning/1st half of the story. After that, it’s all fluff and sweet stuff. I almost couldn’t breathe! XD
I watched it a bit late, and I regretted it. I should’ve watched it while it was ongoing.
The rating here should be 9 and above. 😩

Overall, I love both. 💚❤️
I can’t wait to see him and Cha Eun Woo in one screen!
PS: Am I the only one who sees BTS J-Hope when I look at Kim Nam Gil? IMO, they can pass as brothers or cousins!
Ah, people have different preferences indeed..

There are plenty of slow dramas that I dropped because they’re draggy, they make me sleepy, and I see no development in the storyline/character.
But there are also some slow dramas that I could watch till the very end, without skipping scenes, without feeling sleepy. And one of them is YAMG.
