I am patiently waiting for subtitles, I am not giving Youku any more money, no matter how small the amount. I am glad, however, to see the rating raising, that means the ending was satisfactory. Looking forward to it, :)
As someone who didn't read the book, it is so much fun to try and follow this complex story. They are very subtle talking about the ones behind the curtain, but if you follow closely you can connect the dots. I think the most impactful for me was when that one officer said to Wang Miao how the humanity was lucky so far and how that is going to change. I also love how Shi Qiang's down-to-earth outlook motivated Wang Miao to mentally fight back. The moments with WM's family in ep. 5 were great. I can't wait to see more, but I have to space episodes a bit so I can follow and have time to thing about them.
Next week? It's not supposed to end till the end of the month according to MDL.
They are releasing approximately 10 episodes per week (two episodes Mon-Fri), I expect episode 30/31 by Friday, unless they start releasing only one episode instead of two after that (please, no), they are going to release all of them next week. We'll see... I suspect we'll have to suffer through one episode a day.
I am watching the number of episodes decrease and hate the fact that drama will end next week. It took me almost two years to find new Chinese drama to watch and it's already ending. ;_;
I have come to this drama late, but I thoroughly enjoyed it: the smart protagonists, no misunderstandings, healthy communication, both individual cases and overarching story. Can someone recommend a similar drama to me? With similar qualities? I've watched Ancient Detective, for example.
Youku App is horrible and I can't even get it to work, so can someone help and point me to a site where I can watch a subbed version. Thank you in advance.
I THINK BDSM WAS DONE QUITE WELL HERE>>>>NOT LIKE UN>>
Mhhm, I saw a single scene that was consensual, anything before was far from it, not to mention safe and sane wasn't even a consideration. And I tried reading their novel chapters and simply had to give up. I stand by my words. Daemi know nothing about BDSM.
The entire acting ensemble is effing adorable. It seems all of them are at least friendly.
Too bad I'll probably skip season 2 if the story follows the BS writers who are abusers and the only thing they know about BDSM they've read on Wikipedia (and that's generous).
Question: Do we know if Be On Cloud secured the rights on VP? Can they continue without the writers because everything I read about them online is disgusting.
But, that's my opinion, not every drama will be for everyone. I say, try another episode or two and see.

It's subbed. It starts and ends with music video, new footage/epilogue is in the middle.
You can find just the epilogue without opening video (which is part of the episode) here: https://kisskh.at/discussions/tian-ya-ke/61943-ep-37-important-ending-scene-links
