So, basically Cai Zhao's shifu was in love with her aunt, while she loved someone from the demonic sect. He was later suspected of killing sect members, but I saw no evidence of that on screen. I think this BS from previous generation is coming back to bite them all in the present.
This was recommended to me to fill the void How Dare You left and after binging the first 9 episodes, I am in. I like wuxia anyway, but I particularly like this cat and mouse interplay between the leads. I haven't really liked FL in Whispers of Fate, Cai Zhao is much better written character and the actress has much better chemistry with this ML. This is my first drama watching ML and so far I like him. The fact that he's easy on the eyes is a bonus. ;) So, I am continuing!

I loved the drama, but I can't believe I cried more about 2D characters than about mains. Yong'er, Jin Tian, the good doctor, even the girl that tried to poison Wanyin... they all broke my heart. Well, except Xiahou Bo, he got what he deserved.
The 'assassin' just won't leave Xiahou Dan alone, lol. How to show a wild night of sex without actually showing a wild night of sex. Passion is real. ;)
