Lady Musashi

To stop the agony of only one episode per day, I started watching Shadow Punisher. It's barely worth your effort: Luo Yunxi has a special identity, he is the most skilled and most beautiful and, of course, he is sick and is going to die. We've seen this 300 times almost to a T.

On the other hand, while it wasn't nearly sufficient, episode 40 was great, I loved how the ladies worked together and even Madam Lin had to acknowledge Lanxiang, Jinqi's little speech to the marquis, the hand-holding and soft looks... Express...when!?

Jinlan dying surrounded by his family really got to me. At least he has a couple of years of freedom and left a son behind. Still, it broke my heart.

I am glad that Jinqi got the family out of the capital where winds are changing. But, more than anything, I am glad that he and Lanxiang came to an understanding and she finally feels free to love him. Even her teacher accepted him. :)

I like how much Jinqi trusts and listens to Langxian. And how with every action of hers he visibly falls more in love with her. And she is slowly thawing too. :)

Brother-in-law deserves more than a broken arm. I hope he gets what he deserves.

Lanxian's eye roll in the first scene of episode 28. 🤣 🤣 🤣

We know who will be Jinqi 's enemy in the capital. The way Prince Han was looking at him when he escorted the Crown Prince to the Emperor could flay the skin and strip the paint. I got the chills.

He's getting drunk on their tears. lol. 🤣

I really liked these two episodes. I felt sorry for both Lanxian and the scholar, but as someone said, this is Against the Current not With the Current.Still, it was a shitty move, also brilliant move, and Jinqi will be paying for it, starting with the slap. XD

I liked that both their families gathered around them because they were hurt, Lanxian emotionally, Jinqi physically - grandpa really drew blood. Now the chase begins, lol! I will be enjoying every minute of it. :)

I agree, he snatched him right under the Duke's eyes, but as the Terminator says: He'll be back. XD

Jinqi clearly left on purpose to deceive the bad guys. Maybe he'll get to save Lanxiang this time, heh.

Lanxian will keep her word and get Ji'er eventually.

CRAZY THEORY TIME: I suspect the preview we saw about assassins attacking the wedding is a fake out. With Crown Prince being present, the security will be tight. Plus, Jinqi will be there because his sister is getting married. So, what if assassins are going after someone else? I just don't know who that would be. But, the Emperor has to grant Jinqi the marriage soon. Maybe because he stopped whatever is happening? Or discovered who the assassins are?

I just don't want the marquis and third sister to die. They look so happy.

Episode 18 was great. I liked how they've dealt with the Du siblings )though I agree with the commenter asking for the sister to be slapped, lol). Jinqi is completely gone for Lanxiang, but I want him to chase her, because she is just so oblivious. XD
