This adaptation was overall excellent in my opinion! They kept the essence of the book and still managed to add some elements here and there to make the sequence of the narrative cohesive for a drama format. By adding this new elements it helped build up the story a little more. I especially have to give Yoonsu his flowers 💐. I really respect him and the whole cast for embracing this project with so much confidence even after all the backlash. Young is a very complex character and I just loved how well Yoonsu portrayed him from his personality to his sense of humor... he did a really great job. I think one of the reasons why this adaptation is so good is the fact that the writer of the novel was actually involved with this project (we even see a photo of him in the drama if i'm not mistaken lmao) and also it just really shows that the whole crew put a lot of thought and care into this ❤️‍🩹

i actually have no words to describe how this drama makes me feel. the last part of episode 8... so moving and so beautiful

Since I saw that the author of the book is one of the screenwriters I'm guessing they will keep the show as close as possible to the novel. Just want to warn everyone that this might not be your usual KBL. Some people will probably tune into this for the romance part and while the romance does exist, it's kinda of a subplot. The story is really more about a queer man figuring things out about himself. It's humorous but addresses real and delicate topics. The main character is complicated but also very realistic so I really hope people give this drama a chance.

the official account made a post saying that a drama version of the movie will be released on September 12th, on an OTT platform in Korea and also internationally! the drama apparently will have 6 episodes with 20 minutes of duration each.

i watched the movie a while ago and i remember enjoying it 🤔 but this series is a lot more interesting imo. the actor who's playing taichi is really engaging and i think that's one of the reasons why this adaptation is way better.

so in the preview for ep 8 there were some scenes that wasn't actually shown in today's episode (like the pregnancy test scene, i was really waiting for that one 😬)

exactly!! since she had such a difficult childhood i'm guessing she just understands what it's like to not be able to afford a lot of things. i was just noticing that the others youtubers in the drama were always quick to choose the big, eye-catching and high cost toys to promote while eunha's videos were just her teaching homemade stuff for kids (which can be very helpful in developing their creativity and coordination skills!!).

i love how eunha makes DIY projects and chooses to promote only affordable toys on her channel 🥺. commercially produced toys are usually quite pricey and can be a burden to a lot of parents who can't afford.
