Nahhhhh I wish I didn't start it, now i'm traumatized. I got up to ep 14 and it seemed like the series was heading in a weird direction so I dropped it. Came to the comment section a few days later to see if my intuition was correct and unfortunately I was right. Go watch "Secret Lover" instead of this distasteful series. I want my time back😭

This!!!! thank you finally a sane bl fan. Everyone else got mad at me for bringing up how this series is weird and writers need to stop with the infest plot twist. I mentioned how I was glad Lan Zhan and Wei Wuxian weren't related and people came for me. Like there are literally so many other chinese censored bls with a similar plot to this and they did not have to rely on infest for censorshipe or devise for plot twist.

Junseo is literally in a kpop group called Wei, it has nothing to do with his acting. He is talented and not problematic like some of your faves. Junseo isn't a misogynist like Leo nor is he friends with one... He literally taught Masato and the others the dance as a leader of the group and the judges gave him an all star and I think the judges would know better than you about evaluating a contestant's skill. Stop making assumptions and invalidating people's hard work and do your research properly next time before criticizing an individual especially when your fave Sangwon can't sing or keep up with the dance. Anxin literally forgot the lyrics and missed a pitch too yet your only coming for Junseo who didn't make any errors??? Vocals are far more important than just dance skills.

It's weird and even more disturbing that people are trying to justify incest because of this series by saying cousin marriage is okay. I've seen a lot of different censored bls with very similar storylines and they were not cousins nor brothers of any sort so there was no need to do this for censorship.

First of all the incest regarding Meng Yao was scorned upon it was not romanticized in the series. Furthermore, the MC and ML were not related in any way!!! they were from different clans and families what are you even talking about?

If they wanted to pass censorship they could have just said they are friends and no one would have bat an eye. They have done other censored bls without having to rely on incest such as "My Mortal Enemy is my Husband", "The Golden Platform", "Jian Hun", "Nearly your Royal Highness", and etc. None of the former censored bls I listed had to rely on incest to pass censorship and I can list more censored bls that did not have to rely on a incest trope.
