I didn't watch Only One because of the step bro trope or Unknown because of the adopted brother trope. I dropped History 4 because of the side couple. I dropped Kiseki as soon as I found out the ages. I initially thought they were probably 18 and 21, as soon as I learned they were 17 and 27 I immediately turned it off.

That's why I avoid Taiwanese bls, like they keep romanticizing relationships btwn step siblings. I never watch a step bro bl and never will, it's literally inc3st in my opinion and technically considered psuedo-inc3st.

Yes, "We Best Love" was so good and I wish we could get more like it🥹. Ewww I heard about that one, it's called "Unknown" the series he literally groomed his brother into being his boyfriend🤮 I never watched it, but I saw a few people on TikTok outraged by it, but majority tried to defend it by saying that damn phrase I hate lol. He literally raised him and acted as a father figure. It's abhorrent how the audience thinks this series is noteworthy. It should not have garnered as much praise as it did. I blocked all the people that posted that series and tried to justify the romance btwn the siblings. It's like people forgot that you don't have to be blood-related to be considered siblings. Taiwan is apparently doing another sickening bl where a 69-yr-old Grandpa is going to take over his grandson's body and date his grandson's crush. Taiwan needs to be stopped, like wtf comes up with these despicable tropes. Bestie where have you been all my life??? ❤️

No I haven't, I'm only watching a few Thai bls lately. I've stopped watching as much Thai bls as I used to because I am tired of the same ships. Thank God they are paired with someone different and hope they continue changing pairs for Bible, Pond, and hopefully other actors. People get so pissed when I bring up how disgusted I get by that trope. The only Taiwanese I liked and watched were MODC, We best Love, See Your Love, Obsessed. Majority of them are brothers to lovers so I tread lightly on Taiwanese bls to avoid those ones. Taiwanese bls are overrated and I agree with you they are hard to follow even a good one like See Your Love was random and choppy towards the end. They do not deserve the praise they receive. We are probably gonna get killed for saying this but it's the truth 😅.

Agreed! and I also like Mix and Earth and First and Khao but 1-2 time is enough. Their dynamics and characters seems the same. I had to drop THK and Ossan's Love. It's unfortunate that companies are more invested in selling ships than the actual show. I miss the old days when permanent ships weren't a common reoccurrence. Hopefully in the future more people will start realizing permanent pairs suck and companies will start mixing pairs.

I agree about literally everything you said! this is why I loved Nadao, they took both acting and singing seriously. My favorite Thai actors and singers are Billkin and PP Krit because they have immense talent and excels at everything even if they are doing their own independent thing. They can succeed on their own and don't necessarily have to rely on each other. BIllkin's movie about his grandma was phenomenal. Sky is also a very talented actor, but being stuck in GMMTV might restrict him as an actor. A lot of these major companies do not focus on acting classes or extensive workshops which is such a shame because the actors aren't improving. It's disappointing that the Thai bl industry is more focused on selling a pair than quality, acting or plot of the bls. On the bright side at least Thai bls are more watchable than the Taiwanese ones, I lost count of how many Taiwanese bls i've dropped because of borderline inc3st 🥲.

Yeah, I was never a fan of fixed/permanent pairings. It stunts you from developing skills and doing differing roles as an actor.

Having fixed pairs will stunt the growth and development of individual skills and restrict them from ever improving their acting. All three are problematic and I am trying to use their logic against them. You would be surprised at how many people argued with me and said pseudo-infest and pdf are not a big deal because it's "fiction".

OMG yes, I also loved "Voice", " Mouse", and "The Guest". Some of my other faves are "As the Gods Will", "Death's Game", " Save Me", " Alice in Borderland" and "Signal". I also enjoyed "Weak Hero Class". P.S. No because that means they are hypocrites and their constructive criticism loses value because how can you preach about one thing while doing something inherently as bad. It's similar to the Catholic Priests who preach h0m0ph0b1a while being child diddlers.
