I think you fail to realize an AO3 survey is just a small sample size and isn't an accurate nor precise representation of the population who consumes queer media. The statics you provided does not reflect individuals who are not utilizing sites like A03. I also think it is unfair to make assumptions about certain queer groups and generalizing everyone. Idk about you but, i've read myriads of articles that suggest the majority of the population who consume bl is inherently cis het women and I've seen proof of that myself.
