I think you missed the part just before the scene when they drank and did the speed quiz when Pran made up with…
Oh nice! Yeah if we also use that, we can say that they havent had sex yet at the time of that scene. And yeah Pat always like to portray the girl in the early episodes. Let me rethink my analysis then
Another discussion you might want to bring up. The DEEPER SIDE OF THEIR AFTER-SEX SCENE, their ROLES and what does it imply. If you're uncomfy abt this topic, just skip this. I know this should be theirs and we have no business but I can't keep my thoughts for myself. Here goes: In most BLs, the taller or buffer one is the Top and the shy or reserved one is "usually" the bottom. A lot of people were surprised abt the after-sex scene suggesting that Pat is on the receiving end and Pran is the one who penetrated as hinted by Pran wanting to be rated on how he "performed". Other really obvious hints were Pat grunting and tired and Pran being the bigger spoon. I was also surprised by this and thought Pat is the top. But nah. i don't mind. It's a show breaking stereotypes after all.
BUT HERE'S another take. During the Cooking Scene, Pat had the audacity to tell Junior he has a lover and he's "doing things to his lover". It seems innocent at first but when Junior asked for more details, Pat said to wait when he's older. This suggests something explicit. We can say that they DID IT already before. And when Pat said he's doing things to his lover, it implies that Pat is the TOP in their relationship. HOWEVER, during the beach scene when they were drinking and Pat asked for a kiss, Pran said, "NO. IT'S MY TURN". This is not only abt the kiss but Pran covertly insisted that he wants top Pat. It's his "turn" after all. Hence, we have that after-sex scene where Pran topped Pat.
Why the need to discuss this? I know it's their private thing but sex is a high form of language in a relationship. I'd like to think that by "reversing the roles", (Pat letting Pran to do it this time) it suggests that there is a "give and take" in their relationship. Equal. Both satisfied. Both in love. No "wife" and "husband" as Pran said in their relationship.
Feel free to contribute to this. I want to know your thoughts.
I cant believe I skipped this Japanese BL until a few weeks ago. I even finished it on its anniversary, coincidentally. I APOLOGIZE BL GODS!!! Gomenasai Anyway 10/10. Perfect acting/chemistry. Wholesome, fun, immersive and yes, it gets deep. Would give it an 11 if they really kissed (but who cares?) I'm not finished yet with the special eps. Season 7 when?
Some people pointed out that the answers to the questions in "Skyline" (ITSAY's iconic OST) are actually found in "Coming of Age" (IPYTM ep 5 song). Ahhh perfection!
ARE WE READY TO SAY GOODBYE TO THE BOYS AND THEIR GENUINE LOVE THAT WE WITNESSED IN ITSAY? DO WE REALLY WANT OH AND TEH TO BE SEPARATED PERMANENTLY?It's a question I am still asking especially with that unforgivable acts of Teh. But rewatching ITSAY, their love was really world-changing, especially for viewers. I am torn. F**k you Nadao.
Promising the Moon means "promising the impossible". Since the trailer hinted that the conflict is about the other person changing (interest and dreams), we could say that their promise of "forever" will be challenged. And this may lead to three possible endings (kinda like a theory) A. Both will learn to respect their differences B. Both will pursue their different passion C. If both will pursue their own goals, then (a) they might go for a long distance relationship or (b) decide to end their relationship and go on their different paths and they'll meet if their ready (a cliffhanger)
I personally like Ending C because it "promises" another season for Oh-Aew and Teh hahaha
You think 2gether had better actor chemistry than this one? I'll have to (strongly) disagree. I get that the type…
Mind if i join? 2gether used to be good in the first half of the series but it felt dragging in the last parts. The finale conflict was anticlimactic and Tine's strong, goofy and determined personality was not seen in the last six ep. Wat's "hurt" acting is cringey (if you watch it again). Sequel is also meh. But for what it's worth, it was a catalyst for neighboring countries to produce BLs. Hype was on during that time.
If you're looking for a REALLY GOOD series then search for ITSAY
There's someone here who kept commenting how bad Pi's personality is and that Mork deserves a better one. Well, Pi's personality is really problematic but not BAD. Just different from what we see in most BLs. Episode 6 made that clear. Pi is like that plant who needs to be taken care of. And Mork is willing to take care of him. And this is how the plot moves for both of them. The BEST part of today's ep was how Mork tried to teach Pi about love and obsession. We then learn that this series could teach us a thing or two abt love. And this is made possible by Pi's naiveness of love. So yeah, Pi's rough personality is pretty much a good plot device.... Now, It's amazing to see what Pi would do if Mork is the one who needs him. We have yet to see.
Lol hahaha that was REALLY FUNNY! So the fandom was shaken about rumours of Mew Gulf fight (Mew being distant from Gulf and less sweet) Lots of speculations here and there. Hearsays incited by fans that tainted both Mew and Gulf these past few days. Then Mew and Gulf responded for good.. MG are advertising less-sugar products! Less sweet drinks hahah. Look at their IG. Very clever you Two hahaha. Kudos to the team Edit: I dunno if there's really a prob or not with the two, but as long as I see them together once in a while (even with separate projects), I am more than happy. Luv my babies
THIS EPISODE STANDS OUT BECAUSE OF ONE FACTOR. It showed the classic TharnType sexual tension but this time without showing any sex scene. You see, we didn't get sex scenes here but oh boy the apology scene and kiss-in-the-bed scene were DONE RIGHT. The two scenes helped propel character's development. In the apology scene, we see Type being sweet and all, he knew how to say sorry to Tharn with a Sprite, but then he tried something new: The RED ROSE! Viewers learned that Type isn't just physical, he can be romantic too. Tharn also showed he's willing to forgive his partner. Next, Type hinted Tharb to go to bed after he finishes his work. Then we have the kiss-in-the-bed scene where the two ARE SO DAMN CUTE. IM STILL DYING FROM THAT KISS UwU. Anyway, that scene showed how Type needed Tharn to "endure" his work. (Tharn is still lovey-dovey with his wife). So these scenes are not explicit ones but they are FAR SUPERIOR compared to the previous sex scenes that were jumpy or thrown out of the blue without a purpose to the story (just for fan service). Love this ep
Let me rethink my analysis then

Great, we'll get a spinoff then!
This is really a crisis.
Time to raise the army
A. Both will learn to respect their differences
B. Both will pursue their different passion
C. If both will pursue their own goals, then (a) they might go for a long distance relationship or (b) decide to end their relationship and go on their different paths and they'll meet if their ready (a cliffhanger)

I bet you read that in Meen's voice lol
Problem solved!
