Japanese don't really act like this and not all japanese characters in queer fiction and straight series are portrayed like this. The overly awkward and stoic character is an exaggerated trait in BL/Yaoi mostly.
Oh thank you dear, I didn't think of doing that...🙄 As I said the storyline is interesting and I wanted to see Ryota catch feelings and see how he'd confess to Kazuhito. That's why I'm still watching though I'm not impressed by the execution.
JIH looks willing to be with CBE regardless of his financial situation. Guys quick question. would you still be…
I wouldn't care as long as my lover is trying to better their life : going back to school to obtain a degree, moving to another city or country for better job opportunities... Being poor shouldn't be a life sentence.
It's really a rare thing for me to be disinterested in the main couple. I don't dislike Ongsa and Sun but I don't really like their personalities and how they process their emotions and deal with conflicts. Ongsa is too awkward and too insecure, the whole plot is about that, like she has nothing else to offer...I understand where she's coming from but I don't know, she's annoying. And Sun is too bland yet problematic. I find their relationship quite boring. On the other hand, I love Aylin's character and LunaAylin's storyline is interesting and fresh but they don't have enough screentime.
The information available in eps 1-4 never pointed to "only gay for you" trope. You would have to make a lot of…
"The characters' same-sex attraction seemed to be an isolated incident. It didn't seem to be a genuine expression of "queerness" And this is where your argumentation is wrong. At no point the drama told us the characters were straight. KiSub wanted JinWoo to ask him out, so he could accept him. Meaning he's not straight... JinWoo never questioned his love for a guy; he just doesn't want KiSub to be his crush. So we can guess that JinWoo isn't straight... Balgeum and In Ho were literally boyfriends in high school. We didn't see them question their sexual orientation. And we don't know if they went out with women or men since then. So, given all this, why would you assume the characters are "only gay for you"?! Why not conclude they're queer ? Does someone need to put on a label to validate their sexuality ? Why not just accept the facts the series presents us instead of making assumptions based on your value judgment ? You could have said you prefer when a character's sexual orientation is explicitely stated, cause maybe you need that in order to relate to them, but your criticism of the series is biaised and therefore unfounded.
Excellent acting from the male leads! Poom's Joe is so sweet, kind and naive. I hurt for him. And Up is wonderful as Ming, he's able to portray a toxic and manipulative jerk but a vulnerable one.
The scream I screamed when they kissed, even though it's Kang's imagination! And on episode 4 on top of that. This series keeps giving. I do not approve of Shone going after Kang. I didn't sign up for this mess. I'm not fond of Potae. It seems like he doesn't know what he's doing but something is off, I think he's aware of Payos's feelings, even subconsciously. Don't like this kind of baiting behavior.
A body swap is a storytelling device seen in a variety of science fiction and supernatural fiction, in which two…
Thank you! I've read several articles about the subject and often they use the terms body swap and transmigration without distinction, it was confusing. I get it now.
Can someone explain the difference between body swap and transmigration ? For some viewers, what happened to Joe isn't body swap but they don't explain their thoughts. Isn't body swap a form of transmigration ?
Excellent first episode. Engaging, great acting from the MCs, good directing. I'm impressed. It's already painful to see Joe giving his all for Ming cause it's obvious Ming is toxic. Can't wait for the angst. On another note, I love that they addressed the top/versatile subject. We don't see that enough in bl. It helps deconstruct stereoptypes.
Kicking my feet and giggling! These boys are killing me with their cuteness. I'm surprised by the chemistry and the heavy flirting. With Moo being a highschooler I was expecting something tame like MSP. Moo's boldness is refreshing, he obviously went to Kongpob's school of flirt and sass.
