Excellent first episode. Engaging, great acting from the MCs, good directing. I'm impressed. It's already painful to see Joe giving his all for Ming cause it's obvious Ming is toxic. Can't wait for the angst. On another note, I love that they addressed the top/versatile subject. We don't see that enough in bl. It helps deconstruct stereoptypes.

The way they talked about the NC scene you all thought we were getting something like MODC's locker room scene right lol. But I knew they would "sanitize" it. Even worse, they fucked up by adding flashbacks to such an important scene. They should have put them just before Qian accepted Yuan's love and they went upstairs.
They milked the angst until ep 11 but the pay off was so damn good (I absolutely love the acting intensity in ep10 and 11). However, I'm left a bit... disappointed ? I feel like we didn't see enough of YuanQian's happiness. They got together, we got Lili's drama and the series ended just like that. Like, it's missing something.
Thanks god the actors were excellent because the editing was bad (weird choices were made especially in ep 1 and 11, the BGM was overused), and the storyline was a bit wonky (no mention of Yuan's early life, the gangsters reappearance in ep10, Dr Lin and Le interaction in ep11, Lili's career and her relationship with Sa Pang...).
