The storytelling in the first two eps was all over the place. Iam all for flashbacks but this was convoluted.
Agree. The story is interesting and the actors are great but the directing is all over the place, confusing and overdramatic. I hope it'll get better now that we're in the present time.
So we are still on Non being victim argument? He chose to do bad things that made him evil too.
Non made mistakes but he's still a victim. I don't get why you can't understand that. Non being dumb and making mistakes doesn't erase the bullying, the grooming, the beating he received from Tee's uncle and the life of slavery he's apparently living now. You're fighting this point like your life depends on it.
I don't trust Phi. Something was strange this episode. The whole scene where he explained Tan's plan ain't it. He was too calm when Jin confessed about the video and too sweet when he took Jin's hand and promised to protect him. I don't know. I was waiting for him to laugh hysterically and hit Jin with the machete... I wouldn't be surprised if he's the real mastermind behind all this.
Oh, please keep quiet with holier-than-thou attitude.
"this was made for an audience that I don't relate to and I'm mad about it" -> Nobody says that. Usually criticism comes with arguments but y'all rather sums it up just like you did with your sentence above... And if you think expressing dislike is being mad I can't help you here... "annoy others" ? So reading comments you don't agree with annoy you ? Lol. Then why not join a discord or fan private group if you only accept like-minded people ? I'll say it again, MDL is not a fanpage, you don't dictate who should watch and comment here. It's one thing to disagree with people respectfully, it's another to look down on them. I've been watching jbls since Takumi-Kun, in fact my favorite bls are japanese and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Saying " you don't deserve JBLs" and rewriting comments to fit your narrative (" whining about them not making out 25 minutes straight") doesn't make OP smarter, on the contrary... But I'll stop here cause I've been reading you for a while, and I've noticed you're one of the people always telling others to go away, you don't accept sharing this space, so this convo is sterile. Have a good day.

Not at all. I just dislike people who try to shut others pov. Plateforms like MDL allow people to share various opinions. They are not fans private groups. Why feel the need to make value judgement because you disagree with them ? This "leave if you don't like this masterpiece, stop whining..." mentality doesn't make sense and really pisses me off. Just post your own pov, whatever it is, and go about your day.
Yeah we get it : it has been 5 episodes of toxic workplace environment, lack of self esteem and doubts for maybe 30min of romance development. First 2 episodes were good but it's now boring and repetitive.
Even if Non isn't alive(which seems like the case), I hope he gets justice. Where the whole group (yes, even Jin.…
"...Where the whole group (yes, even Jin. Come after me) gets arrested and spend their whole lives in jail." -> who goes to prison for being a bully ? The only one who should go behind bars is Tee cause he engineered a lot of the bad stuff happening to Non and had a hand in his disappearance/death.
Jaylerr did 3 bls what are you even talking about??
I've been watching thai bl since Love Sick... Just didn't see Diary of Tootsies. It's been on my watch list for years. My bad... But what about Tor ? Whatever they did years before, they're now quite famous, especially Tor. That's why I'm a bit skeptical. I hope I'm wrong, we'll see.
This series reminds me of Sahara Sensei to Toki-kun, the way they refuse to focus on the main couple... What's the point of all this ? Why should I care about the ex bf ?! Why remind us of their love story and smexy scenes ?!
this should be an introspection on how actions have consequences. Teenagers can be very brutal but being a kind…
Don't twist my words. I said nothing about kid vs minor. I'm not talking about law here but psychology development. At 17-18 you definitely can be dumb and immature, but you can't excuse your bad behavior by saying that you "can't control your impulse". You're stupid but you can control yourself. And when you don't, it's not because you're a poor thing completely overwhelmed by your emotions but because you thought you could get away with it.
"If they were 16, would what they did be fine, then? What if they were 15? 14?" => no, because as I'm saying, as you grow up, you're supposed to know right from wrong and learn to reign your emotions in and to avoid hurting people. That was my point.

While I agree with you that no one deserves to die for being a bully, I don't really agree with your argument. We're not talking about 12 years old boys. They're 17 or 18, leaving for college soon. At this age, you're not a kid, you know what you're doing, you can control your impulses.
