It's about relationships in college though. I think that's why it's set in college. Cheum has appeared in one…
Yeah just like the other characters and we got to see their stories begin. Also, in the trailer there's no indication of her getting a story. You chill.
This was damn good! Pacing, cinematography, acting, chemistry. Everything was on point! Let's hope the story fleshes out the characters so we understand why they act like they do: why is Ray an alcoholic, why is Top a fuckboy... I know that not everything has to be deep, not every behaviour is a result of a trauma but the series could be an interesting characters study. 2 things I don't care for: - The guys being in college adds nothing to the story. They could have been working adults. Thai bls really love high school and college set up. - What is the purpose of Cheum? Diversity? All characters are paired up and have a story except her (there's no subplot with her in the trailer). I'd rather have no woman in my bls than an evil woman or a 2D character with no proper story.
I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing or not but the whole passive response to his former teacher/first love…
Totally agree about BaRam being too passive. His character is so "female" coded. I mean I've seen this behaviour in so many straight asian dramas: FL is so disappointed with someone or anxious about something that she gets weak, faints or even gets ill for a couple of days. Please! Also, his reaction was strange cause he said he was in love with HanTae, yet he acted like he was still in love with his past crush. This whole arc felt forced.
It was cute and well acted but there's something missing. I'll forget this series in a couple of days. I'm not fan of the trope of the touchy-feely bestfriends oblivious to each others feelings. The guys were on each other laps every second and HanTae even drunk confessed. So BaRam indecisiveness and attempt to distance himself from HanTae felt like a device to create unecessary angst.
The acting is great and the chemistry is overflowing! Episode 4 was something else. It's cute but embarrassing to watch grown ass men flirting this hard 🤣🤣🤣. Many people are talking about Film and while I agree he's great, this time I have to praise Jam. He doesn't have a lot of experience but his acting is immaculate in LOA. He's a natural, there's no awkwardness, no hesitation in his delivery and he can keep up with Film! JamFilm are showing us they're a powercouple.
Is it me or SW-JS-SH love triangle was weird? Wasn't SW interested in JS at first? IIRC at the start, he said JS was his style but went on a date with SH. During the first night calls he got a call from SH but said he didn't receive a call from the person he was expecting. Who was he talking about? I believed he wanted JS to call him. I think he was interested in JS but switched his focus on SH when he saw that JS was never gonna reciprocate
They made a mockery out of these beloved character through rushed and lazy writing. As viewers, we deserve better.…
Totally agree. Minato's attitude towards Shin is toxic. I could understand this from a high schooler but not from a 30yo man. This isn't funny nor cute. It pisses me off that they refuse to acknowledge it and don't let Shin push Minato for an explanation. They don't even let him tell Minato his behavior is hurting him. At this point the series has lost any realism quality it had in S1 and the characters are now ruined.
I really hope all the pairings will have equal screentime cause I don't really care for ForceBook. I'll be seated mainly for KhaoFirst. Also, I know p'Jojo is good at writing messy and exciting scripts but I need a tight and smart plot, not just NC and shocking scenes.
Mixed feelings about ep4. There were some interesting convo between JokeZo and the last scene was good (best acting from Dunk so far) but overall the pacing was weird, I was getting bored.
I've finished ep8. I like QiPa but she's dumb. After failing to escape a couple of times she should have changed her strategy: get close to KML to understand why he kidnapped her, try to make him fall in love with her or at least develop a friendship. Then bargain with him: she marries him and in exchange he allows her to go back to her kingdom a couple times a year. As it is, she still hasn't asked the right questions. She's not helping herself by antagonizing him. I started this series thinking we would have a enemy-to-lovers dynamics but they don't have enough scenes with KML 's real appearance. I know the series is 30 episodes but it's time for her to acknowledge KML is a nice guy.
Been watching japanese dramas for 20 years, what you're saying doesn't explain shit. The story is bad and ShinMinato's…
I'm not shitting on your comment, I'm saying you're not giving real arguments to back up your pov. "Japanese humor", "Japanese people don't show their love"... don't relate to the storyline, the characters depth and so on. I've seen many jdramas (comedy and melodrama) yet I've never seen a character this averse to intimacy. I've never seen a character trying so hard to hide their feelings, even though they know they're hurting their SO by acting this close off. They pushed the lunatic act too far.
People hating on this show just don’t know how Japan works. This is one of the classic Japanese way of comedic…
Been watching japanese dramas for 20 years, what you're saying doesn't explain shit. The story is bad and ShinMinato's dynamics has now entered toxic land. It has nothing to do with japanese not being able to say I love you.
Good episode today. I like that Zo is quickly realizing he's having feelings for Joke. It pisses me off when they drag it until the last episodes. I also appreciate that Joke is giving real advices and not just spouting bs to further his scheme. On the downside: JoongDunk have great chemistry, the director doesn't need to use long ass staring scenes to show the characters are becoming attracted to each other. I long for the day that thai bls would stop doing that.
