They made a mockery out of these beloved character through rushed and lazy writing. As viewers, we deserve better.…
Totally agree. Minato's attitude towards Shin is toxic. I could understand this from a high schooler but not from a 30yo man. This isn't funny nor cute. It pisses me off that they refuse to acknowledge it and don't let Shin push Minato for an explanation. They don't even let him tell Minato his behavior is hurting him. At this point the series has lost any realism quality it had in S1 and the characters are now ruined.
I really hope all the pairings will have equal screentime cause I don't really care for ForceBook. I'll be seated mainly for KhaoFirst. Also, I know p'Jojo is good at writing messy and exciting scripts but I need a tight and smart plot, not just NC and shocking scenes.
Mixed feelings about ep4. There were some interesting convo between JokeZo and the last scene was good (best acting from Dunk so far) but overall the pacing was weird, I was getting bored.
I've finished ep8. I like QiPa but she's dumb. After failing to escape a couple of times she should have changed her strategy: get close to KML to understand why he kidnapped her, try to make him fall in love with her or at least develop a friendship. Then bargain with him: she marries him and in exchange he allows her to go back to her kingdom a couple times a year. As it is, she still hasn't asked the right questions. She's not helping herself by antagonizing him. I started this series thinking we would have a enemy-to-lovers dynamics but they don't have enough scenes with KML 's real appearance. I know the series is 30 episodes but it's time for her to acknowledge KML is a nice guy.
Been watching japanese dramas for 20 years, what you're saying doesn't explain shit. The story is bad and ShinMinato's…
I'm not shitting on your comment, I'm saying you're not giving real arguments to back up your pov. "Japanese humor", "Japanese people don't show their love"... don't relate to the storyline, the characters depth and so on. I've seen many jdramas (comedy and melodrama) yet I've never seen a character this averse to intimacy. I've never seen a character trying so hard to hide their feelings, even though they know they're hurting their SO by acting this close off. They pushed the lunatic act too far.
People hating on this show just don’t know how Japan works. This is one of the classic Japanese way of comedic…
Been watching japanese dramas for 20 years, what you're saying doesn't explain shit. The story is bad and ShinMinato's dynamics has now entered toxic land. It has nothing to do with japanese not being able to say I love you.
Good episode today. I like that Zo is quickly realizing he's having feelings for Joke. It pisses me off when they drag it until the last episodes. I also appreciate that Joke is giving real advices and not just spouting bs to further his scheme. On the downside: JoongDunk have great chemistry, the director doesn't need to use long ass staring scenes to show the characters are becoming attracted to each other. I long for the day that thai bls would stop doing that.
Can we just agree to admit that as great-looking as he is, with amazing shoulders and great hair, Takamatsu Aloha…
The acting of both leads is just bad. They give me nothing but embarrassment. And the whole plot with chief Sanada is underwhelming. I'm reading the comments wondering if I'm watching the same series.
Did I miss something or they're trying to make it more complex than it is? Since when Kawi & Pear are a thing?…
Ok, she def wasn't over the top, and she has the right to be disappointed but not answering their calls, not wanting to talk to Kawi... I'm not saying they shouldn't care about her. They def should have told her but it's not like they hid it from her. They just didn't have time to tell her. My issue is more with Kawi and the overall feeling of this ep: his reaction was exaggerated imo, he was acting like a martyr and talking as if it was going to destroy her and lead her to be Future Pear. Like, my guy, you're not that important. You didn't betray her, you weren't together, you were courting her, the same girl that was in love with Pisaeng weeks ago... So let her calm down and go talk to her in a couple of days. So far the series has succeeded in avoiding tropes and overdramatics. I appreciate the calm and realistic approach they use, so the tone is this episode surprised me.
Dropped. I hate this kind of FL that is now popular. The "Stalking Is Funny if It Is Female After Male" trope is very problematic. This reminds me of It's okay to not be okay, with it's over the top directing and toxic FL. Also, Gong Jun's acting is weak here. He was so good in Word of Honor I wanted to see his other works.
Pisaeng & Pear are childhood friends. And before Kawi’s dad died for the nth time, Kawi was still actively pursuing…
Pisaeng rejected Pear, and Pear rejected Kawi so they both don't owe her anything. Sure they could have told her they're together but the didn't have time and most of all they don't have to. Her reaction was too much, like a betrayed lover.
Did I miss something or they're trying to make it more complex than it is? Since when Kawi & Pear are a thing? Why would Piseang & Kawi being together hurt her? Why are they acting like they betrayed her? Also, Pear meeting Not is OOC cause she doesn't give a damn about him, so she wouldn't go to him to tell him "you were right, I should have trusted you"...
